Great experience

Excellent service. Outstanding staff.
Room is standard.
The wonderful part is the garden with the pool where breakfast is very appealing.
The only flaw is the carpets in the hallways, which are not at all suitable for a 4-star hotel, but at most for a 2-star.

Well-managed hotel

The hotel is located in Marina di Campo, about 300 meters from the sea, and the garden is beautiful.
With a wide variety of plants, a lovely pool, parking included, good food, and very kind staff.

Four stars are too many!

The facility is not suitable for bike travel: it does not offer laundry service, does not have a place to keep bikes, and overall the facility does not meet the standards of four stars, especially the breakfast which is absolutely insufficient. Brioche, cakes, and even pre-cooked bread but hard. I hardly ate anything. The jam was pure sugar, of low quality. The only noteworthy element is the pool in the tropical garden, very beautiful although not very well maintained.

Not recommended further.

Poor:
Room small and dirty (upon arrival, there was a half-eaten pizza in the refrigerator).
The room had a strong odor (very unpleasant smell).
In the bathroom, many corners were black.
Food was more than inadequate for a 4-star hotel.
Dining room very small and very loud.
Good:
The outdoor pool with loungers and garden was clean.
Relatively friendly staff.
Proximity to the beach.

comfortable hotel

Nice friendly hotel with lovely pool, nice gardens, nice breakfast, pleasant staff, pool bar didn't open until 4pm which seems strange and had to wait for someone to appear but cocktails were excellent and reasonable. Lots of lovely romantic secluded comfy canopied shady spots to sit but seem very underused and not especially taken care of a bit of sweeping up and dusting/wiping of these areas would improve it. Comfy sunbeds and Bali beds around the pool but some mattresses were a bit worn out and needed replacing. There was another bar hidden behind pool area but was closed so not sure if that was just for events looked like it could be nice if opened. Room was nice enough, comfy clean, lovely big walk in shower. We had a balcony room on 1st floor at end of the block next to fire escape so no noise from other rooms but a couple of times people on the fire escape (was it cleaners carrying their equipment) woke us up early with their clattering. Tiny balcony with no sun due to all the plants and foliage overgrowing onto the balcony was a bit disappointing I suppose it is good if you want the shade but being English we want the sun! Probably could have asked for a different room but we were fine with it. The clothes airer on balcony was rusty though so did not use and this needs fixing/replacing. Very close to beach and Town. Pool towels provided. Discount code given for ferry. A little bit more attention to maintenance is all that is needed. Overall a good stay would recommend.
