The best B & B

One of the best B&B I ever visited..
Clean , centrally located and beautiful and comfortable room !!
Staff really nice and helpful. Free b fast is a +!
Whoever left a bad review should go in a 5 star hotel and pay hundreds of euros!
Thank you B&B Sicilia.
Will definitely return!

Complete mess from start to finish

I really wanted to like this place! The location is about 10-15 minute walk to the center of town and about 10 minutes to the railway station. The rooms are modern and clean (as advertised), however the manager (could be the owner as well) is a complete mess and so unprofessional - I have never seen something like this is my life. Firstly, there are no instructions about the arrival. The door to the complex is locked and apparently you have to call him. we did after standing outside and trying to reach him for AN HOUR! On the second night of our stay he actually had a his own party in on of the rooms and had his friends over - they drank and smoked weed and it seeped through the entire guest house. They were screaming and yelling at the top of their voices. His friends were so drunk that they were trying to enter the other guests rooms at around 1-2am. It was crazy! The next day he was walking around and screaming on the phone. Its almost as if he forgets that other people are staying there too. The fridge was broken and leaked and the "breakfast" is a joke. One the first day he put out some chocolate cake for breakfast- and on the second day he just put down a half loaf of bread lol. Its sad- this place has a lot of potential but the manager will be its downfall. My advise- book literally anywhere else.

Nice place,less surrounding by the bus station

The room was very nice and in calm street, however you cannot throw toilet paper to the toilet because of the thin tubes and also the bathroom smelled a bit after usage due to the old tubes most likely.The breakfast was not good, since it was self service with coffee maschine, no fresh bread or toaster, no fresh croissants. It was on Sunday, although when we arrived on Saturday they had croissants, so not every day is the same service. Towels and toiletries were indeed provided. We also expecting parking provided by the B&B but there was none, only for a fee and we had to find one further from the accomodation and in the hands of God that no one will steal it or break in. For the price we paid over 70 euros per night, we would expect some better service.Expect homelesses to sleep close to the building.

Pessimo

Solo bed perché la colazione su 4notti neanche una, la pulizia della camera non esiste e nel water non possiamo buttare la carta igienica.(neanche nel water del camper)
In più la pattumiera dove buttiamo la carta igienica usata è senza coperchio quindi al rientro il puzzo si sente da fuori.
La situazione che c'è all'esterno è indescrivibile e durante la nottata è priva di controllo.
Inoltre i vetri delle finestre sono ancora quelli di 3mm come negli anni 70 (anche pericolosi) e la spazzatrice che passa di notte sembra che sia a letto con voi. Io domandò come l'APT abbia fatto a dargli le autorizzazioni per aprire.(l'imbiancatura è fatta bene)

Buona volontà

Il b&b si trova al 3°piano di un palazzone con portineria a 10 minuti a piedi dal centro di Catania, in un quartiere un po' periferico e popolare.
Le camere sono abbastanza moderne, dotate di mega televisore, minifrigo, condizionatore/riscaldamento e bel bagno.
Buona pulizia e cambio asciugamani quotidiano.
Colazione (inclusa nel prezzo) confezionata e non delle migliori.
Piccoli disguidi tecnici legati alle finestre e mancanza di coperte prontamente risolti in giornata dal personale.
Ottima l'assistenza e la simpatia della signora Benedetta e del marito.
Tanta buona volontà ma si può migliorare.
