EXCELLENCE IN HOSPITALITY

We stayed at this hotel nestled on the hill above Cernobbio.
Unparalleled view from the room and from the small pool (but proportionate to the rooms they have).
Rarely have we found such a sense of hospitality from all the staff at the property.

Postcard on the lake

...what about the Asnigo is always a certainty...stayed for the third time...staff and hotel over the top ... a postcard view of the lake ...!

Convenient, beautiful, clean and relaxing

Absolutely lovely. The hotel and rooms were clean and comfortable. The restaurant was delicious, and the continental breakfast in the morning was very nice. The pool was clean and we never had trouble getting a chair, even though it was peak season. Everyone who worked there was accommodating, friendly, and went out of their way to help (loaning us umbrellas for the day, remembering our room number after only one meal, etc.).
It is in a beautiful location! We had a room with a balcony facing the lake, and it was worth it – exactly like what you see online. The restaurant and pool are also both overlooking the lake so the view is everywhere. There is even a glass elevator, so you see the view while going up to your room!
The hotel is about a 15 minute walk from the central area of cernobbio, down by the water. We were worried the walk would be too difficult, but it really was fine. The streets are very quiet so we felt safe. We also walked up to the hotel every time, which really wasn’t THAT big of a deal– but if anyone in your group has mobility issues at all, then this might be an issue as there are some steep hills and we were definitely out of breath at times. There is a city bus, but we were confused by the stop and never cared enough to figure it out.
This is definitely a resort style hotel, and just about everyone staying there was clearly a couple. I’m not sure this would be the best choice if I had children with me, because it is isolated from the town just a bit.
