At last - a hotel that really understands service and professionalism

I've just returned from a wonderful weekend in Cuneo where I was fortunate enough to stay in the amazing Hotel Lovera Palace. Situated on the pedestrianised Via Roma, it was a sheer delight to sit outside for a traffic-free dinner and watch the world go by. The owner and his family clearly take pride in their attention to detail and professionalism. The food was amazing, and they specifically redesigned dishes to suit me as a vegan. These are truly professional hoteliers of the old school who know how to provide top-level service without being intrusive.
My room was quiet, well-equipped and faultless, and I was delighted to learn that my car was in secure storage under the hotel with direct lift access (although the entrance through the narrow gate and down the spiral ramp had to be done with care)
Not just the hotel, but the whole area seemed relaxed, unhurried and unworried. It's been a long time since I felt such a peaceful environment in a city centre. People strolled by in the evening, eating gelato, no noise or fumes to interrupt a relaxed meal with wine by the glass recommended by the waiting staff to match my food.
Well done to everyone involved. You are a great example of how a real hotel should be run, and others could learn many lessons from you

Palazzo Lovera Hotel Cuneo excellent

The hotel is located in a very nice and elegant building in a perfect location to visit the center of Cuneo.
Our triple room was large, thoroughly clean and tidy.
Ms. Stefania welcomed us as a real hostess, with helpfulness, sympathy and professionalism; all the staff and 'was very kind and hard to respond to our requests.
I absolutely recommend it.

Nice welcome and tranquility

A hotel in the center of Cuneo, in an old building, with non-luxurious but comfortable rooms. Quiet atmosphere, some noise (from the street or other rooms) but nothing problematic. Good restaurant. Great welcome from a friendly and customer-oriented team.

Don't miss the opportunity...

Tried on the occasion of the brown fair. The restaurant provided an ad hoc menu.
Very nice environment, you breathe a quality Piedmontese air.
Adequate staff, very attentive and courteous maitre. We plan to return for a more traditional lunch.

TO AVOID

Deplorable Welcoming by very laughing people who continue to discuss with their colleagues before becoming interested in customers.
Suitable room, out-of-age furniture, safe and fridge are broken down.
When I asked for an iron, I was asked to go down to the hotel entrance (?!) and iron my clothes in the lobby. My surprise amused the employees, who seem decidedly happy to work here...and completely but completely mock the visitors.
If you can anywhere else, go ahead.
It'll always be better.
