Best place to stay in Frascati
Close to the wonderful center and always a free place to park.
Breakfast has been improved a lot ..

To start with a positive the hotel is in a great location few minutes walk from the centre of Frascati and has onsite parking and if that's full on the street outside. BUT...... from the second we opened the door of our 'suite' we were disappointed and wouldn't have stayed if it wasn't just for one night. The suite consisted of the normal room and an additional small room full of furniture and another bed which was not requested. The room smelled damp and have visible signs of mould and was dirty, the shower was too low to get under (I'm 180cm), the mini bar was an old fridge that had one bottle of water and had to be turned off at night due to the noise it made sounding like a pool pump. The hotel had two maintenance issues too. The evening guests were told to close windows due to pest control in the gardens and in the morning there would be no hot water from 8.30am. AVOID!

Undue charge and bad management.
Unfortunately my experience with the Hotel Flora was bad due to a serious administrative error and the subsequent total lack of correctness of the management.
I was charged and collected an extra night not due (check-out made regularly on 28/12, as per confirmed booking). Although the error is obvious and documented by their booking confirmation, the property has unduly withheld the sum, bouncing me (to date after almost a month) repeatedly despite various reminders (Pec- phone calls- ordinary mail). I believe that fairness to the customer and transparency in payments should be the basis of hospitality, but here they have been totally lacking

Lots to do
Positive things: proximity center, station. Beautiful from outside, nice common areas, good breakfast. Nice and smiling usher. Waitress for breakfast cute.
Things to improve: room 422 superior, 4 floor I think one of the best, yellow encrusted toilet, clean but to change, hydromassage nozzles to change peeling, style furniture but not cared for, some lamps not working, whatever. Bathroom wall socket that comes off. Optionals 2 tea bags, kettle and water bottles. For the rest quiet room with terrace never cleaned after rain. Mattress so so so. Room 211 second floor uglier although superior. Needless to say these things... changed the toilet is yellow with the lines, the flush is blocked .. you have to put it back?.. in a 4 stars there must be, That is in a 4 stars?
Cold welcome, non-existent, the bar exists only in the morning where the cute and kind waitresses welcome you with a smile. Tip: the 'hotel has maximum potential but should be reviewed as a customer reception, things to change like a toilet .... also you can not have at least at 18 a bar service, the place is nice. At the back of the bar there was a lady with a little aggressive dog who almost bit mine. Apologies there were obviously but better to be able to keep your pet at bay. We have always scruples in the breakfast room to bring the dog. Then there is a mystery... the restaurant... where is it???? In short, the price paid is too much for this hotel where coldness and decadence are the masters.
