Nice experience
I read some scathing and merciless reviews. Me and my wife, frequent travelers and guests often even in excellent facilities, we were very well. I do not want to list the many advantages (first of all the beautiful breakfast terrace and its "open" use at any time of day or night) and some small defects, as already highlighted by others. But I think we have to put it in context. Travellers should always do so before making judgements. Gaeta Vecchia - a place rich in beauty and history - or, rather, the district of Sant'Erasmo today presents various housing difficulties: in recent times dozens of b&bs have sprung up out of nowhere, more or less regular: they are mostly wet caves, without windows and uninhabitable according to hygiene requirements, with continuous and persistent sewage smells, at exorbitant costs. It is undoubtedly a speculative bubble (we know something about it in Rome) with unpredictable outcomes. I would like to reward those who, as in this case, do business honestly, offering their customers a healthy Accommodation, according to normal living standards, beautifully located, in the historic center of this wonderful pearl of the Mediterranean, trying to do their best ..

Panoramic B&B
Fantastic location: located mel old town, near the castle and a stone's throw from the port. The terrace is large and the view really lovely. Owner friendly and helpful.
However, the rooms are dated and should be renovated, and breakfast could be improved.

Well located structure, with attached parking, fantastic panoramic terrace to live h24, friendly and helpful staff. Unfortunately the rooms are outdated and cn with little care in cleaning, to also improve the courtesy set and add bidet placemats (we are Italian!) Too bad because there is great potential!

Residence well located
Residence well located since you can access the port through an elevator of the residence. On the fourth floor you can admire a wonderful view thanks to the terrace where you can sunbathe and have an aperitif. Breakfast quite good but poor. Cleanliness not at the top. I will return.

terrible experience
dated structure and without any maintenance. hygiene leaves a lot to be desired. the bathrooms are in a sorry state, the bidet knob is detached, the shower is full of rust, the shower head is almost completely blocked and the towel change is non-existent without even bidet towels (they don't use them, they say). 24 hours to be able to have a bottle of water on very hot days. a fridge in the room that made an unbearable noise. safe placed at ground level, therefore usable only by people who can kneel. unfriendly and arrogant owner. the only beautiful thing is the terrace overlooking the sea, even if poorly maintained, and the proximity to the center. an experience not to be repeated, especially because in the last weekend of August, the price for this service is 145 euros per night.

Effettivamente la nostra struttura è ubicata in pieno centro storico, in zona ZTL, con accesso sulla strada principale e carrabile del Borgo. A pochi passi dal porticciolo turistico di S.Maria. I clienti ci scelgono proprio perché amano soggiornare nel cuore dell' importante Borgo medievale, ricco di ristoranti, bar, locali e negozi tipici, oltre che di pregiate chiese e monumenti storici. Inoltre è molto apprezzata la nostra terrazza panoramica, Regina Sofia - si raggiunge con un ascensore che serve tutta la struttura - che domina il borgo medievale e l'intero golfo di Gaeta, regalando emozioni visive a tutte le ore del giorno. È qui che si può consumare la colazione o ammirare il tramonto e le luci della sera, peculiarità che rendono unica la nostra struttura nel borgo. Una volta parcheggiata l'auto nella nostra struttura, il cui costo è compreso nel prezzo della camera (particolare non irrilevante a Gaeta), il passeggio del lungomare è proprio a due passi e inoltre si possono facilmente raggiungere a piedi, in bici o in barca anche le bellissime sette spiagge di Gaeta ubicate in più punti del territorio. Consigliamo di non perdere l’occasione di un giro con una delle imbarcazioni di Dario e Simone ormeggiate proprio sotto la Residenza, al Molo S. Maria. Ci ha fatto piacere che lei abbia apprezzato la nostra pregiata posizione
