Restaurant

Finally return to this gem of a place. It is so different from what we otherwise meet in the italian kitchen. What a CHEF!! He presents the most amazing dishes-from the starter to the main course. And the atmosphere is so relaxed and lovely. We have lost the number of visits here but we are constantly returning. Thanks to both of you. Liv and Sverre

Exceptional B&B

We spent two wonderful memorable days here late October. With lovely hosts, fantastic food and very special surroundings it was just the place to unwind, away from the stress of modern living. We came specifically to see the Puccini Museum which is almost next door to the B&B but were also pleasantly surprised by Celle itself; a little gem of a car-less village, wonderful to explore on foot. Parking is on the edge of the village and Oswald kindly takes your luggage to/from the B&B in his Golf buggy, even giving one passenger an exhilarating ride with himself. The garden is full of interest with an amazing array of pot-grown fruit trees, all bearing fruit - Oswald's hobby. The view from the bedroom window was very special, looking out over the chestnut woods and deep valleys. So peaceful and rural, you felt in another age. Would love to come again.

I would advise anyone that wants To experience a great cuisine in a fabulous location take the time , it is worth it!!

A MUST

WOW... the food is from Rosella's garden , and with so much love...we have eaten lunch and dinner in the restaurant, and always so pleased... not only with the ambiance , but with the presentation and quality...and reasonable prices... we are fortunate to live in Gello a portion of the year and able to frequent the restaurant... love taking our guest for the experience. it is so worth the trip to this beautiful village..

Wonderful mountain retreat with great hosts

The views, the food, the warmth of the welcome, the cleanliness of this B&B – all were excellent. Rosella and her husband are attentive, understanding, generous and wise. She is a psychologist and also a sommelier by training and uses both skills to great effect. He turns out one delicious meal after the other from the restaurant kitchen. Incredibly, the fruit and vegetables are all grown on site and organically. We announced we were vegetarian and nothing was too much trouble for them. Breakfasts a dream. Dinners sublime. Wine...well just ask Rosella what's good. Also, my Italian ground to a halt within two sentences, but they are both bilingual in German, and we chatted with ease in German during our stay. English will also work if not. Make sure to leave the car in one of the two carparks in this tiny mountain village and walk the few yards. Don't try and drive to the door like we did. We look forward to our next trip.
