Beautiful
We spent 10 days in a campsite trailer. Simple place with essential services. Comfortable, clean, the Management ready to resolve every situation with speed and competence. Wonderful contact with nature. Excellent location both for going to the beach and for enjoying what the area has to offer. We will definitely return.

Pleasant without being pretentious.
Family with two children and a dog. We chose the tent house: equipped with every comfort for a tent, cleaning not impeccable. Quiet location (too bad for two nights with a smell of garbage, but that must have been because of some lazy person who, rather than throwing it away, let it rot behind the pitch).
Acceptable bathrooms, cleaned twice a day; at the end of the vacation when the number of guests had increased, it was noticeable. Spacious showers, too bad not all of them had a small window, so if you have to wash the kids too, it becomes a bit stifling, but perfect for those enjoying it alone.
There is a shower for dogs, too bad there is no dog run area.
The shuttle is only for those who rent a beach umbrella, and the dog can only stay under the umbrella at the equipped beach. The website mentions half free beach and half equipped, but it refers to the public free beach where dogs can only access before 8 a.m. and after 7 p.m. So do not think there is a free beach belonging to the campsite where you can stay with your dog.
If you do not want to rent an umbrella, the walk from the campsite to the free beach is about 1.5 km, not all under the shade of the pine trees. However, you can get quite close from the town center of Principina; otherwise, if you rent an umbrella, the very nice Mr. Claudio will brighten up your shuttle ride.
As for the lunches on the beach posted on social media... Only on the weekend! The restaurant is excellent and the market has everything you need, but for the less lazy, there is a Coop in the small town.
The bar is well-stocked and the girls are kind, probably tired from the demanding hours of the season and the heat, but always with a smile.
Entertainment: we were there the last week of July, so not exactly low season... Two very young entertainers whose names we don't even know because they never even came to involve the kids, not even on the beach. They just did baby dance in the evening.
Overall we had a good time and even staying at the campsite in the evening without big shows was pleasant. The kids made friends and played a lot with very little, and that is exactly the magic of camping.

La ringrazio per aver lasciato una recensione intellettualmente molto onesta.
Mi permetto solo di specificare un paio di punti:
1) Mi spiace che abbia trovato la pulizia della casetta NON impeccabile. Se ce lo avesse riferito al suo arrivo avremmo potuto provvedere tempestivamente. A volte può capitare che nei fine settimana, quando i cambi tra arrivi e partenze sono numerossisimi, qualcosa a qualche donna magari un po' meno attenta possa sfuggire. La prossima volta, qualora tornasse a trovarci, saremo lieti di offrirle le pulizie finali per scusarci dell'inconveniente.
2) I cani hanno una spiaggia a loro dedicata a 2,5km dal campeggio. Trattasi della bau beach una spiaggia libera non attrezzata dove i cani sono liberi di scorrazzare e fare il bagno a qualunque ora. Le altre spiagge libere più vicine al campeggio hanno delle restrizioni che per altro divulghiamo sin dal primo preventivo che inviamo.
3) L'animazione è stata affidata a due ragazzi che seppur giovani sono sempre ben disposti a coinvolgere i bimbi. Forse peccano un tantino di inesperienza e non sono troppo avvezzi a girare per gli ombrelloni assoldando i bimbi per paura di disturbare le famiglie. Farò loro presente questo suo prezioso suggerimento.
Le auguro una felice prosecuzione di estate e sappia che se dovesse tornare, oltre alle pulizie offerte, avrete diritto anche al 10% di sconto.

Excellent staff availability, but tents are very hot during the middle of the day
Our accommodation, a safari tent, offered generous and comfortable spaces for four people, and we found the bathrooms clean, despite their simplicity and age. A huge plus goes to the availability, fairness, and kindness of the staff and management: faced with our situation, they proved to be extremely understanding and professional in handling the treatment.
The main problem with the accommodation concerns the daytime hours: the heavy heat that accumulates inside the tent during the day is significant, accentuated by the fact that unfortunately the pine forest is sparse due to force majeure, leaving the area exposed and lacking sufficient natural shade to mitigate the temperatures. Consequently, the portable air conditioner provided is not enough to adequately cool the environment. At night, however, the temperature becomes pleasant and you sleep very well.
However, managing this intense heat during the day with a small child makes the stay decidedly complicated. Nevertheless, the excellent behavior of the staff must be recognized, whose honesty and willingness to meet the needs of the customers was truly commendable.

Satisfactory
The safari tent is spacious and comfortable for four people but its main problem is the heavy heat inside during peak and afternoon hours. A portable air conditioner located inside is not enough to cool the environment.
The area around these tents is treeless.
Clean facilities, a bit old, but comfortable. On the downside, the distance from the sea, which is convenient if you have a bike and use the shuttle bus, a bit less so on foot.
In the evening, if you take a walk in the campsite, it is poorly lit.
On the plus side, quiet, spacious, and the staff is kind.

La ringraziamo per le sue parole. In effetti la tenda safari è in zona soleggiata e quest'anno con il caldo torrido che tutta Europa sta soffrendo anche il pinguino refrigerante nelle ore centrali del giorno non riesce ad abbassare la temperatura. Meno male che essendo esposte verso il mare godono del vento che viene dal mare e sulla terrazza esterna si sta benissimo.
Questa è la ragione per la quale non le affittiamo mai a chi ha bimbi piccoli che devono fare il riposino pomeridiano.
La notte però, converrà con la sottoscritta, si dorme molto bene anche senza l'ausilio del pinguino refrigerante.
Purtroppo 4 anni fa il mazzococco rosso ha attaccato tutti i pini marittimi e la forestale, dopo un accurato censimento, ci ha costretti ad abbatterne 400 lasciando mezzo campeggio scoperto. Sono stati ripiantati ma la natura ha i suoi tempi e prima che la pineta torni quella di una volta ci vorranno parecchi anni.
In merito ai servizi igienici siamo consapevoli che sono un tantino datati ma ci fa piacere che li abbia trovati puliti che è la cosa più importante.
La distanza dal mare è tipica di quest'area, non ci sono strutture fronte mare nella zona di Principina e Marina di Grosseto, ragion per cui abbiamo messo la navetta che porta alla nostra spiaggia proprio per venire incontro alle esigenze di famiglie con bimbi o persone più agées.
I vialetti poco illuminati sono una scelta precisa in quanto troppa luce potrebbe disturbare coloro che dormono nelle tendine.
Concludo ringraziando a nome dello staff per averne apprezzato la gentilezza.
Nella speranza di potervi accogliere ancora in futuro le auguro un buon proseguimento di estate.
