Incredible experience at Villa Rosalia!

Carmela (the host of the house) is an excellent example of professionalism and efficiency. She has always been very kind and helpful, accommodating every request of ours. In Villa Rosalia, we felt at home, not like customers but as guests from the very first day! We can't wait to go back to Ischia and relive the fantastic experience of being guests at Villa Rosalia!

Pictures are deceiving

It is necessary to use a taxi to get to the villa as it is 5 minute drive uphill after you leave the main road. The villa was hard to find as there is no name plate or house number on the wall at the bottom of the long drive, luckily our taxi driver helped us. The front doors were locked and nobody was there to meet us. Eventually we were shown our room which wasnt ready and we waited outside. A mattress from our room was drying outside. The room was nice, a few things were broken in the kitchen, i.e. the chopping board fell to pieces, the fridge door shelf was broken, the oven was dirty. There was one bottle of water in the fridge, no tea or coffee, no sugar or milk and no shop nearby. The hairdryer didnt work and the shower spurted water all over the bathroom. In the morning at 9 30 a lady was hosing the pool area above us and the water was dripping down on us sitting at the patio table!! Checkout is 10 a.m. and they come to collect cleaning money which we werent happy to pay. We only stayed one night. The mother of the owner came and demanded we pay her 29 euros. We told her our complaints and this resulted in her bringing the cleaner to the room, an argument erupted which was unpleasant. We were glad to leave. All I can say in their favour is the garden is beautiful and well maintained.

Excellent for family and friends

Very kind and friendly owners wait for you in this villa. The apartments are spacious and well illuminated. The pool on the top of the complex has a gorgeous view on the harbour and the Procida Island.
Maybe it's better to go with your own car, otherwise you can find a bus stop not very far.
Moreover, the owner is always available to help you doing everything!
5 stars, no doubt.

Very nice location

The householder is very kind ,friendly and helpful, the location is quiet! Wonderful top view everywhere, especially from the swimming pool on the rooftop, just breathtaking. The flats are suitable for groups and for family too.

Great value and fantastic views

Villa Rosalia is all about the splendid views over the sea and the great attention from the staff, who make an extra effort to make you feel at home and enjoy your stay.
The views are truly spectacular both morning, day and evening. The place is quiet and apart from the neighbouring vine yard's cocks that are noisy in the morning it is a truly quiet and tranquil place. The pool is great too.
Our apartment was great, roomy, homey, clean and nicely done up with a kitchen combined with a dining and living room plus two separate decently sized bedrooms. We had the breakfast served every morning and it was great: freshly brewed coffee of your choice, fresh fruit and croissants plus bread and juice. Spot on.
We would love to come back. Only issue for some people will be the distance from Porto Ischia which is around 3 km up a winding road. We rented a Vespa and were mobile but if you do not plan on having a car or a scooter it may not be the place for you. But it is really a great place otherwise.
