Lovely Lucca and Limoni!
I will dream of this beautiful property for the rest of my life! A beautiful, historic villa with many lovely amenities. The pool area is well kept and a great way to spend an afternoon. We appreciated the lovely landscaping and surrounding grounds. The resort is about 2 miles from the walled city of Lucca which gives it a peaceful country feel. We felt very safe here.
The rooms were very large for Europe and they were very well appointed with quality antique furniture and decorations. It was like stepping back in time over 200 years and yet with the usual conveniences such as decent WIFI, television, and air conditioning. The room we were given had a separate drawing room from the bedroom with a large bathroom complete with a tub and bidet. They have a lift for your luggage.
The best part of our 6 day stay was our time spent talking with the owner Biajou (sorry the spelling) and the manager Veronica. They were so kind and helpful to us and really made us feel at home! Gracie to them! Our last day they even served us fresh pizza at the pool!
The resort offers a delicious breakfast with fresh pastries, fruits and coffee in their beautiful restaurant.
Fellow tennis players, there are 5 great clay courts less than a mile away at Circolo de tennis Lucca that Veronica can set up a reservation for you. We played there twice and it was perfect!
Lucca stole our hearts with its uncrowded streets and restaurants, even in July! There is so much history and beauty here we hope to return one day! Gracie!

Amazing place to stay. Welcoming and incredibly service minded staff. The Location is perfect for traveling Into lucca, Pisa or anywhere Else! We were recommended many fantastic places to visit thanks to Veronica. Our vacation was perfect thanks to Resort Dei Limoni. We will be sure to Return!

Charming vintage location with pleasant swimming pool
The location has the charm of ancient English mansions. All a bit vintage inside, but nice. Carpet, fabric wallpapers, 19th century sofas, antique paintings. If you want the typical linear and minimalist modern hotel, this is the wrong place. The context is appreciated by those who love the ancient and overlooks a little on the "old". Quiet place, with a very enjoyable and large outdoor pool, sunny, but surrounded by trees including two beautiful banana trees. Breakfast is consumed in a semicircular "pavillon" early '900 glass, really delicious. Also good breakfast and very kind service. For a pleasant and relaxing blast from the past -and in the pool- (also because the wifi is not really performing ) is really recommended. Even a spritz by the pool can be requested between services ❤️
