An oasis of peace, not a stay but an embrace
When you arrive at Gianni and Pia’s B&B, the first thing that strikes you is that discreet authenticity that only true hospitality can convey. Once you get out of the car, which you can park easily thanks to the comfortable private space, you are immediately greeted by a genuine smile that makes you feel more like a friend than a guest.
The property, immersed in the quiet hamlet of Bassacutena, is a corner of peace in the heart of Gallura: oak forests, centuries-old olive trees and granite that sculpts the landscape around you. The furnishings are simple and well-kept, with immaculate rooms, equipped with every necessary comfort.
Waking up in the morning with birdsong — far from the noise of the city — in a regenerating silence is priceless.
Breakfast, then, is a real ritual of care. Every day, Pia prepares something different, as if she wanted to tell you about Sardinia through a flavor. Banana bread, chiffon cake, camilla, cranberry or orange cake, freshly baked hot croissants: every morning a different pampering, thought with love. Along with these fragrant desserts, you will find an abundance of fresh fruit — bananas, kiwis, blueberries, apples, peaches, watermelon, melon, currants — and sincere attention to every need: savory breakfast with local cheeses and cold cuts, yogurt, cereals, natural juices, dried fruit, jams, Nutella and much more. And yes, even a vegan breakfast cured and complete, for those who need it.

Feeling pampered.
For several years my husband, my children and I go to this fabulous b & b. The absolute cleanliness of the apartments and rooms is the characteristic that distinguishes the structure, modern, with continuous renovations and improvements over time: very comfortable beds, kitchenette, new bathroom! From Gianni and Pia you feel at home because they love this work and transmit their joy talking to customers with the same pleasure that they would have with friends .. time here stops, the sun, wind and the conguettio of the birds surround a location of complete relaxation. Sweet breakfasts with homemade cakes, croissants, jams for all tastes; savory breakfasts with typical cheeses, cold cuts and especially fabulous cappuccino! The b & b is not located on the sea but for this reason you can enjoy all the peace you need.A ten minute drive from the island of seagulls and 15 minutes from Palau, Pollo port, nothing is missing. Grocery stores in the village always open, excellent fish restaurant two minutes, very good hairdresser (to book absolutely)..what to say? We just returned to Genoa and would return immediately there!!

B&B Gianni and Pia without any doubt!
B&B Gianni and Pia
Everything is excellent at B&B Gianni e Pia, starting from the managers.
Gianni and Pia are two wonderful people ready to help you immediately in case of need. We happened to break the gasoline pump of the car on August 12, so close to mid-August, with all the various closures of garages and spare parts..., and after less than 24 hours the car was back in working order. Gianni helped us in all the steps to solve the problem, from the search for the part, to the mechanic, to moving the stationary car, to always accompany us in all the necessary places and at all hours, without asking anything in return, with so much time lost and taken away from his activity; to my request to quantify everything his Response was: “Let us do ourselves good!” This is Gianni. Pia is certainly no less, having always supported and reassured us. On the day of departure, having us the ship early in the morning, it was ready with breakfast at 5.00 am! All always with availability, tranquility and smile. There has never been a word out of place or an inappropriate comment about anything or anyone. Gianni and Pia are very discreet people: if you need they are there immediately, otherwise you do not see them (they do not pry, to be clear). I add that they unpack for their guests: the day the gas pump broke when I called them they were returning from Olbia airport where they had gone to retrieve a forgotten luggage from a previous guest! 90 km. round trip......... challenge to find such people!
Now let's talk about the structure.
The apartments are fresh, spacious, modern, spotless and with all the necessary amenities. Our three-room apartment with 4 beds for example has 2 air conditioners, 1 for the kitchen, where there is also a sofa bed for 2 people, and 1 for the double bedroom; this is not obvious because in many other structures if it goes well there is only 1 air conditioner per apartment. There is also a mosquito net at the double bedroom window, the bed is comfortable. Regarding the kitchen area the fridge is large consisting of separate fridge + freezer; gas hob always working without any problem; many lockers for food, dishes, pots, rags, everything is present. Nice large and stable table with 6 chairs. The bathroom has a normal sized shower (it is not small...), there is a hairdryer with diffuser, drains all working without ever a clogging. In short, everything perfect and in place.
Outside each guest has their own covered parking space in the shade and near the entrance. There is a beautiful garden / vegetable garden all around the house; you can easily pick the various seasonal fruits.
Breakfast is served from 8.00 to 10.00 on an open terrace overlooking the greenery. Pia always does find many fresh cakes made by her, Illy coffee, cappuccino, pastries / croissants / different flavors, bread of various types to toast, jams, nutella, dried fruit, savory part with various cold cuts and 3 types of cheese, caciotta and others. There is a mini fridge with 7/8 different types of juice, fresh water and much more that I forgot... you can also ask for the encore and trifecta without problems; also once you leave for the beaches if you want Gianni offers you an additional coffee at the Illy bar that he manages 300 meters.
That was it.
From the B & B Gianni and Pia you can reach in 20 / 30 minutes many beaches in the north, all those of Palau, Santa Teresa di Gallura, up to Vignola and several of Arzachena; they are between 15 and 25 kilometers, you are spoiled for choice. I point out the trio of Naracu Nieddu, Lu Litarroni and Monti Russu, huge beaches with wild nature, transparent blue sea with sand, little frequented, always too underestimated. Of course, the popular places are also half an hour away by car: the ferry to Palau for La Maddalena, Capo Testa, Spiaggia di Rena Majori, and much more.

Stay 10 and praise
Gianni and Pia's B&B is the perfect structure if you want to visit the entire Costa Smeralda because with its strategic position it is 35-40 minutes from all the most beautiful beaches. Excellent services, clean rooms equipped with every comfort, abundant and quality breakfast. The owners are uniquely helpful and kind! Super recommended, I will definitely come back

Fantastic stay and super friendly host
We stayed one night and we felt welcomed and Gianni the host is super friendly and helpful. The location is spacious and clean. Breakfast was great. And the location is in a nice village and not touristy. Really great stay.
