Nice hotel in quiet neighbourhood with big but basic rooms

A nice hotel opposite a park and walking distance to restaurants. Even at night the park and the area didn't look dangerous. Hotel was simple with really good service and luggage storage was available if you rocked up at the hotel well before the check in time, like us. Room is quiet big but with basic furniture and utensils.

Sleepless in Milan.

My girlfriend had trouble falling and staying asleep for two out of three nights due to the noise insulation. I could not sleep for two out of three nights because there was an extremely loud snorer in the room next door, waking me up repeatedly despite earplugs. My girlfriend confirmed that the snoring was so loud that she could hear it in the hallway. The receptionist actually said this: "There is a bathroom in between." With that, she indirectly accused me of lying! I had to endure a second sleepless night (on the third night, the guest next door left, and I was "only" awakened by the shower next door). I have never experienced such treatment of guests before. I have never encountered such treatment of guests before.
Even without extreme snorers next door, one can hear voices from the hallway and neighboring rooms, noises from the corridor and the adjacent bathrooms, and street noise (even with the window closed). Additionally negative: The rooms are very small, the bathroom in my room was old, the shower was small and did not have a handheld showerhead.

100% recommended

100% recommended. Large rooms, good quality/price, very good location 5 minutes from Loreto metro station (allows you to see the whole Duomo center, Scala theater, etc) Quiet area, good breakfast and perfect service.
I recommend it.

Great value for money location

Everything is summed up in the “title” .. I believe one of the best if not the best value for money location in Milan. All that is missing is the description and my personal thanks to all the staff of the hotel, everything , starting with the very good cleaning assistants , ending with stefano , deus ex machina of the structure .
Bravo, keep it up!!️‼️‼️

Would stay again

I had a pleasant stay at Hotel Florence in Milano. The location is good balance with price and distance to the city centre. You can reach Red line metro station in 5-10 min and bus stop just steps away from the entrance, making it super convenient to explore the city. There’s also some places to eat and a supermarket nearby, which was perfect for grabbing coffee or essentials. You have a mini fridge in your room.
The room was spacious, spotlessly clean, and equipped with a comfortable bed and good quality bedding that ensured a great night’s sleep. The bathroom was with a powerful shower, and nice toiletries provided. The air conditioning worked perfectly, keeping the room cool and comfortable.
The only downside was the traffic noise when the windows were open, but this was a minor issue and didn’t detract from the overall experience, especially if you prefer aircon during the night. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly, always going out of their way to assist with a smile. And yes, the tourist tax is currently 6€ per night, but this is payment to the city not to the hotel.
Highly recommend Hotel Florence for its excellent location, cleanliness, and welcoming atmosphere. I’d happily stay here again!
