Great but not great
Very nice structure, great location. Junior suite with wonderful sea view, we especially enjoyed the Jacuzzi in the room. The staff was friendly and helpful. The only flaw is the poor and sad breakfast, I recommend doing it at the hotel next door (always them) and far superior! Great hotel restaurant. The Beach Service disappointed me a bit for the lack of courtesy and general indifference towards the customer, the beach restaurant is good though. The only thing I really did not like are the 25 euros per day of parking in the structure, I find the amount exaggerated. And I would recommend the arrangement of the room in the afternoon and not in the evening when we often find ourselves in the room getting ready for dinner (one of the evenings the maid knocked at 10 am asking if we needed clean towels or something). I'd even take that horrible old-fashioned hairdryer off for something that really works. We will probably return again if we ever return to maritime Milan.

But is it really a 5*L hotel?
This hotel is by no means 5 star luxury, if anything a decent 3 star. The difference between a standard hotel and a 5-star L hotel is the details that just haven't been there. In addition, the structure was not in order, for example the deckchair mats were crumpled, dirty or even broken. Clean but dated and not modern rooms. The staff, with the exception of the manager, was unprofessional; for example, the pool attendant was grumpy and irritated only because we moved the deckchairs 1 meter, complaining animatedly that they were passage areas, despite the fact that at that time the area was completely deserted. Breakfast acceptable but not high quality.
In short, I was very disappointed having placed expectations in line with a luxury hotel but which in reality turned out to be much lower than the level it boasted.

The room was very clean.
Breakfast Service not the best because in a five star luxury hotel, even in September at 8.20 a.m., you can not have only 10 tables and tell the customer to wait then for the waiters with uniforms of a higher size and stained just NO and finally at check out the porter can not leave the luggage cart unattended outside the hotel, although on the relevant area, waiting for the customer to arrive with the car from the garage, more attention is my advice even the details make the difference.

A 4 star in the norm, missing a star and luxury
The price paid, actually by a 4 star hotel (300 euros), corresponds to a 4 star. If I go to a 5 star luxury, regardless of how much I pay, I expect not only the stars but also the luxury!
Room clean, but small, unjustifiable for a 5 star luxury category. The room was also old, not updated (beyond the bad taste).
Uncontrollable air conditioning, with broken door. Not to mention the multifunction shower. Impossible to understand its use, without even an explanation. If you opened the shower then no water would come to the bidet.
Rich breakfast but nn at the height of the stars: tablecloth pierced, bread of two types among fresh (frozen), limited kitchen menu. I definitely expected a more uau effect! The good 4 stars of Romagna are much better. Services in the norm (I was not delivered the suitcase to the room).
