Perfect 10!

Perfect stay at Masseria D’Erchia! Could not have asked for a better experience. Rooms, grounds, common areas absolutely spotless. Staff very helpful and friendly. Valentina arranged spa services, cooking classes and tours. We got stuck in town late one evening with no transport and the owner Tzia, got out of bed to rescue us.
Extra bonus are the grounds loaded with centuries old Olive trees, fruit trees and native plants. It’s like staying in a nature retreat. We didn’t want to leave.
Definitely recommend! We’ll be back.

A place where authenticity and simple luxuries blend together seamlessly

The accommodation was special. I’ll never forget it. There is a a really positive sense of arrival along the impressive driveway and the archway on entering the actual property. An old farm surrounded by olive groves and fruit trees. Now converted to beautiful accommodation. A place where authenticity and simple luxuries blend together seamlessly. Beautiful designer touches, wonderful homemade foods and products from Puglia. The old olive press is in the main building. The pool carved into original walls. Simply wonderful. On their website their brand slogan is "A Place where you feel like at home." And this is spot on, it felt like a luxurious home rather than a hotel. It was a real wrench to leave, we'll also miss the wild cat. She has made the Masseria its home and we befriended her.

Favorite stay on my Euro trip!

One of my favorite stays during my European business travels. Masseria D’Erchia is a true boutique gem — family-run, with hosts who are genuinely sweet and take deep pride in both their property and their guests. The architecture is stunning, blending traditional charm with thoughtful renovations that make the interiors feel fresh and inviting.
Surrounded by nature, the setting is peaceful and grounding — a perfect contrast to the pace of business travel. It’s the kind of place that makes you want to slow down and stay longer. I absolutely recommend this beauty, and I’ll be looking for any excuse to return. Also centrally located to explore all of Puglia region.

Just disappointing.

A Masseria is a fortified farmhouse that can be found on the farms in the Puglia region and is typically built in the 16th century. It was built in the 19th century. And as the term already makes clear, there is a Masseria in the countryside. The fact that this hotel is called Masseria is quite confusing. Is it surrounded by tall houses and you can still hear the federal road. It was pure disappointment.
