Self experienced recommendation
Our stay at Masseria Vico was amazing!
The room & area are all beautiful and you can find everything you need.
Loved the shower, 2 sinks & comfortable bed.
The host Luigi was absolutely amazing. He is very welcoming & explained everything about the area & also gave us so many good recommendations for places to see & restaurants to eat at!
The property is also equipped with strong internet connection so highly recommended for those who need to work away from home in the serenity and calmness of this place.
The lovely Italian breakfast was also delicious! The cappuccino & pasticiotti filled with cream were heavenly

Bad experience!
List of problems encountered.
- structure 1.2 km away from the main road, with a dirt and dusty road and rocks protruding from the ground.
- parking outside the structure, unguarded and in the middle of the adjacent fields
_ the pool mentioned by Booking does not exist. There is only an old hot tub measuring 2x3 meters.
- the water is not potable and this is not indicated on Booking, it was not mentioned upon our arrival and is indicated only by a very small notice in a barely visible corner. I was worried because having already drunk, I then saw algae leaking from the shower holes along with the water stream.
- breakfast is not a buffet but only by prior reservation with an indication of each individual desired food item. If you do not reserve it, you cannot have anything extra.
- the room is cleaned and the beds are made every other day. We are not talking about changing the linens, which is acceptable and not a problem, but specifically about cleaning the floor and tidying the bed.
- to protect the mattress, a "plastic cover" like those used for the elderly has been placed, which prevents breathing.
- the shower, with the wrong drainage slope, leaves the entire bathroom floor flooded for hours.
- nighttime access is in complete darkness in the middle of nowhere!
- we spent an entire night without water due to problems with the system and we were not even given a bucket of backup water (which, being potable water managed by them, is considered a rare commodity) to flush the toilet.
All issues reported to the management, subject to discussion and justified by a not very clear "environmental approach," even though very few problems can be attributed to this. In the end, the requested price does not take these problems into account.

Struttura molta
gradevole,Immersa nella campagna salentina,camera ampia e molto luminosa. . Peccato per la poca attenzione alla pulizia della camera, e al cambio asciugamani. Colazione nella media,qualità prezzo buona. Non penso di ritornarci.

Sufficienza
Siamo stati in questa struttura ad agosto 2021, per tre giorni. Location molto bella, immersa nella tranquillità tipica della campagna del Salento. Posizione strategica, tra Nardò e Porto Cesareo. Personale cortese, a disposizione. Abbiamo avuto però dei problemi con la prenotazione che per poco non ci lasciava senza un posto dove stare durante la notte. Non ci sono venuti incontro molto bene tanto che alla fine abbiamo dovuto risolvere da noi con supporto dell'agenzia di viaggi. Consiglio di chiamare qualche giorno prima per la conferma della prenotazione. Colazione buona, con prodotti tipici anche se non tanto abbondante (dubbioso il rapporto quantità prezzo). Servizio pulizia camera assente durante il soggiorno. Non hanno il POS per pagare, grave secondo me nel 2021. WI-FI che funzionava solo il pomeriggio. Illuminazione esterna abbastanza scarsa, considerati i 2 km per arrivare dalla statale alla masseria. Locale in ristrutturazione, con la proprietaria che ci ha illustrato le loro idee e migliorie. Se saranno fedeli a ciò che hanno detto, nei prossimi mesi potrebbe questa diventare veramente una bella struttura con tanti servizi essenziali e non.

Esperienza indimenticabile
La masseria Vico mi ha semplicemente incantato con la sua semplicità!
Immersa in un ambiente rurale, tra campi e uliveti, si raggiunge attraverso una strada privata e sterrata di circa 3km: la struttura è semplice ma perfetta per chi cerca serenità e autenticità.
La camera azzurra, comoda e spaziosa, con un bagno enorme, offre una vista su tre lati, tramonto incluso. La colazione viene servita dalla preziosa proprietaria, una signora incantevole, che assieme ai suoi figli gestisce la struttura. Con lei ho fatto una lunga passeggiata per la tenuta: mi ha mostrato l'orto e insegnato tutto ciò che c'è da sapere sulle verdure da loro coltivate e sugli alberi da frutto.. e poi tra sentieri, nel boschetto (con vista dei leprotti !) e l'uliveto.
Lo stile è rustico, forse a qualcuno potrebbe sembrare "spoglio"..io invece l'ho trovata incantevole proprio per la genuinità che si respira ovunque.
In pochi minuti di auto si raggiungono le spiagge di Porto Cesareo e Porto Selvaggio, e con qualche chilometro in più si arriva a Torre Lapillo e Punta Prosciutto; la sera si può raggiungere Nardò per cenare.
Soggiorno perfetto, tramonto indimenticabile, ospitalità ineccepibile, ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo.
Se cercate la calca, non venite qui..se invece cercate un posto per rigenerare mente e spirito siete sul posto giusto!
E se poi aggiungeranno la piscina...sarà la ciliegina sulla torta!
