Best hotel in Lago Maggiore!
We love, love,loved our stay here. Such a perfect location to explore the lake region of Italy. Breakfast was excellent and plentiful. There are so many fantastic restaurants close to the hotel. The views are stunning. We popped over to Switzerland for lunch and had a beautiful drive to lake Como from here. This location is equally as beautiful as Como without the tourist insanity of Como. Italy’s beautiful secret. If you have the opportunity to stay here do not hesitate!!

A residence that combines privacy, freedom and very attentive service, in a delightful environment, surrounded by greenery and "on the water".
For a reunion with childhood friends, we stayed a couple of days on Lake Maggiore in Oggebbio. The choice of Residence Casa e Vela proved excellent! A welcome very attentive to our needs, and at the same time family, immediately put us at ease. The apartment, on two levels: from a large terrace you access the living area, with kitchenette lounge and sofa, a portion of the terrace is reserved for outdoor dining. Upstairs there are the bedroom and the bathroom: it was the first to be tested (after a day of traveling with great heat!): large and comfortable, with a very nice shower, super relaxing, we cleared the fatigue to face dinner with friends. In the evening from the bed we enjoyed a magnificent view of Lake Maggiore, with the moon rising, reflected on the water; in the morning with the beautiful colors of the mountains and the lake. And before we fell asleep, we had the lullaby of the water lapping. The room overlooks a private terrace, of great privacy and charm, but for breakfast we preferred to go down to the lake, to the Risto Bar Hemingway, served and revered as a pasha (a trace of the Villa's origin) by very polite and fast young waitresses. Alternatively we could have breakfast on one of the two terraces available. Given the limited time available we could not use the boats for a ride on the lake, but for a next time...
Congratulations to the property for the careful management and attentive to the needs of customers and for the charm felle structure surrounded by greenery.
