Weekend of peace and relaxation

Enchanting place, surrounded by greenery, perfect for a romantic escape from the chaos of the city. Added value from a very kind staff attentive to every detail and the needs of the guests. Highly recommended!

Nice discovery

The farm Lapone was a valid discovery to have as a reference point for the next moments of relaxation, completely surrounded by nature is a place that regenerates you in body and mind. The pool is its great and clean strength, it does not give off any smell of chlorine on the contrary it seems to be fed by the water of the nearby spring, also it is placed on top where you can admire a unique natural landscape sometimes exciting. The rooms are nice and quaint. The management is familiar and courteous but perhaps I would make it a little more professional and present, I do not recommend dining or lunch on site because the cuisine is neither typical nor appealing but we talk about simple pasta dishes untied and cooked in my opinion without a ration. also should be specified before the wine is not included in the price of € 35.00, which is not a problem, but it must be said also because sincerely it is absolutely not a dinner worth € 85.00 (also the portions are not abundant). The breakfast is great but even there it should be specified that the eggs are an extra that you pay separately. That said we will return in winter also because the city of Orvieto deserves a second visit with an autumn or Christmas climate.

everything perfect

The location is magnificent.
We stayed here three times in several years.
The first time everything was perfect; We returned the second time but were disappointed by the now tired management and unmotivated collaborators.
After several years, given the fantastic place and since there was a change of management, I wanted to give confidence to the "Tenuta Lapone" again.
We have been fully repaid.
This third stay was perfect:
the rooms, clean and fragrant, tidy, quiet and welcoming;
the restaurant with accurate dishes, pasta dishes made with homemade pasta and accompanied by wines from the estate and from nearby cellars;
management always ready to meet every need and request of the customer.
We found wonderful days from a meteorological point of view which made us appreciate the large garden for Easter lunch, the terrace for the evening aperitif and the surrounding countryside / forest for diving into nature.
Obviously the pool was still closed, but in previous stays I remember it well kept and from the rooms / restaurant you can not hear any noise.

Oasis of peace

We stayed one day at this farm as an intermediate stop on a longer trip.
It was a beautiful discovery: a small village surrounded by nature and the silence of the Umbrian hills.
Definitely will be back to stay more time!!
