Beautiful experience

I stayed a week at the Hotel Profumo di mare; it was super beautiful, the rooms were always clean, fantastic view of the sea, nice staff. The food also exceeded all my expectations. All dishes are freshly and professionally prepared by Chef Alessandro Petrillo and his staff, a true delight for the palate. Highly recommended. I will definitely come back.

Disappointing and little transparency on costs

Unfortunately my experience at this hotel was very negative. The only real plus point is the location, truly excellent because it is located practically in the center.
For the rest, I encountered several problems. For the parking, I had been told via email to pay directly at the property: the partner parking lot “Le Palme”, which is located near the hotel, had a cost of €40 for 4 nights, while I was charged €60 at the property. A difference that was not explained to me clearly.
Same situation for the partner beach club Miramare: I was charged €50, but once I arrived at the beach club I discovered that other customers were paying €40. Also in this case I would have expected greater transparency and clarity from the property.
The room also did not satisfy me: the bathroom is very small and the shower tray is so narrow that a person a bit more robust than average might have difficulty using it comfortably.
Finally, the breakfast was a disappointment: little choice and quality that, in my opinion, is not up to the price and the level that one would expect.
Ultimately, excellent location, but overall negative experience, especially for the management of extra services and for the lack of clarity on prices. As a tourist I felt poorly protected and I certainly would have expected greater transparency.

Fabulous

My mother spent a week vacationing at this hotel with her friend. She was thrilled with the proximity to the sea, the nice staff, and the cleanliness. As full board guests, they particularly enjoyed the delicious food with plenty of fish and seafood.
The price-performance ratio is super fair compared to the hotels in the area.

Hotel practically on the sea

Seafront hotel; they gave us a large front room, which was truly beautiful.
Hotel with a somewhat unfortunate entrance, but equipped with everything needed, such as parking in a nearby lot, a well-equipped beach in front, and an excellent restaurant, all just a short walk from the historic center.
I recommend it

Excellent view

Family-run hotel, everyone is very kind starting from the owner to Gaetano! Excellent sea view! Despite the restaurant below with tables on the street, the room is quiet!
