Amazing location in the old town of Padua
It was clean, tidy, located right in the middle of Padua, close to 3 piazzas with many excellent bars restaurants and shops. It is a beautiful historic city and this is a superb place to base yourself.
This is not a hotel, it is a collection of simple bedrooms with a communal room where coffee and croissants along with cooled water is available. The bathrooms are quite spacious except for one where the shower is a challenge to get into via steps, apart from that they were fine. For us, a group of friends, it was great having exclusive use.
Vincenzo our host could not have been more helpful, he met us, sorted the keys out and made sure we had everything, a really nice guy.

Very Central Location, but Be Prepared for the Building's Stairs
Our room was on the top floor, so we walked up and down 4 flights of stairs with our luggage. A light fixture at the bottom of the stairs kept turning off, so it was dark and a bit scary descending that last flight of stairs. There is an elevator in the building but it was "unavailable." Perhaps Canton Del Gallo can pay the other building occupants to use that elevator?
I did not realize when I booked our room, that there are other rooms with en suite bathrooms. Ours was down the hall.
We had to lug around a giant set of door keys to access our bathroom, our bedroom, the staircase leading to our room, and the building from the street. It would be much easier to have a key card entry system.
