Bad professionalism

We booked our double room at this property well in advance. Unfortunately, the experience was extremely negative and disorganized.
Arriving at the hotel on the day of check-in, the receptionist, mortified, put us in touch with the owner. The latter informed us that our room was not available, as the entire facility had been reserved at the last minute by "historical customers".
Although the booking was made three weeks before, we were only notified upon our arrival at the property. Although the phone number on Booking was incorrect (as they claimed), the holder did not use the email address or Booking's internal messaging system, options that would have allowed us to be notified in time and avoid the inconvenience.
The host proposed an alternative solution: a room in another hotel about 20 minutes (with traffic) away. Initially accepted in order not to miss a scheduled appointment, once we arrived on site we discovered that the replacement hotel had not registered the reservation in our name.
We had to contact the host again, reiterating the strong inconvenience caused. In addition to the logistical damage, we found that the replacement room offered was with two single beds instead of the double bed booked.
The consequences of this serious disruption were significant: we had to cancel an important appointment scheduled for months and skip dinner to be able to reach a show in time.
During the telephone discussion, I expressed my frustration and requested a refund for our initial unused reservation. The owner adopted a vulgar and hasty tone, minimizing the impact of the disruption on our day and claiming that he was not required to reimburse anything beyond the cost of the replacement room and that if it were up to him he would not have paid us that either.
Fortunately, Booking customer support stepped in and handled the full refund. A bad experience that demonstrates a serious lack of professionalism and respect for confirmed bookings

Dirty and mismanaged

I highly recommend not staying here. I stayed for work. Uncomfortable old bed, room full of dust and cobwebs. During the night a couple from the next room caused so much trouble that they had to call the police and, despite the intervention, once the officers left, they continued to make noise.
In this sense, the thin walls that divided the rooms did not help, so the voices of a non-animated dialogue could be heard distinctly. I spent the night blank. But the most serious thing of all is the fact that the property does not provide a mobile number to call in case of problems.
I would have asked to have my room moved.
Better to choose another structure where to stay.

Don't worry!

Very quiet and modest hotel. The rooms are not very spacious but comfortable and clean. Good breakfast and helpfulness and kindness of the staff are the masters. Beware that it is not easy to find it because the sign is not very visible!

For those who are content

Hotel suitable for those who are satisfied.
Few parking near the hotel (to get there now there is 1 prohibition except for frontists but in the end it seems you can pass). Then dated hotel and in need of maintenance (problems with flushing the toilet...) and breakfast little assorted and not very good.
Location far from the center and 15 min from the Geox theater
