Great experience at this hotel. The room was wonderful with lots of amenities and the staff was extremely helpful with everything we needed. Great location too!

A gem 70 steps from Trevi Fountain
I stayed 5 days in Rome with my daughter and I chose this structure attracted by the fact that it was in the center. The location is strategic if you want to be in the heart of the center, only 70 steps (I counted them) from the Trevi fountain. The manager Debora was very kind and helpful from the first contacts and, once arrived in Rome, showed us great Welcoming and helpfulness. Rita, the lady who takes care of the cleaning of the rooms was thoughtful and attentive to meet doubts and requests. Clean and comfortable room equipped with everything you may need for a pleasant stay.

Never never ever
Fatal arrival, opening the doors, acquiring the code to get the key to the room despite having the reservation for more than 3 months. Breakfast is all prefabricated and the water is bad. Al

Virtual B&B without personalized attention, not recommended.
Virtual B&B without personalized attention. The night before the start of the stay I received an email instructing me to do a virtual auto check in from my cell phone, uploading a lot of data, passport photos, etc., too cumbersome. The location is excellent, it is 50 m from the Trevi Fountain, but it is located on the 5th floor of a private building that is open until 17hs, when the person in charge of it withdraws and the access door to it closes. To enter after that time it is necessary to have 4G/5G coverage on the cell phone, if not impossible to enter. I didn't have coverage, I managed only with the WIFI of the different hotels we stayed, fortunately we arrived before 5pm. Then on the 5th floor you enter the B&B with a key that you have to enter on the door handle, once inside the B&B you have to remove from a box located next to the door of the room the keys of the same and the entrance door to the building, that box is also opened with a unique key. All very complex and without any person from the hotel to receive assistance with any inconvenience. The "micro lobby" is only attended by one person from 9 am to 1 pm, outside of these hours there is no one! I contracted the room with breakfast, there is no space for breakfast so they left prepared the previous day all breakfast to take it inside the room, besides how uncomfortable this is for us, breakfast was missing basic things; fruits, cereals, etc, there is a machine to make coffee, but if you want to have a cappuccino or a coffee with machine milk you can not. Only at 9 am a person from the hotel arrives to attend the "micro lobby", fortunately we left after that time and were able to check out and pay the excessive city tax (12 euros per day) in person; but I wondered what if I should withdraw before this person arrived, how did I check out? and how did they charge me the city tax? Overall bad service for the expensiveness of this hotel: I paid 207 euros for one night only!! I DON'T RECOMMEND IT.

Adoptamos el auto check-in para facilitar la llegada de los huéspedes. Esto les da la oportunidad de llegar a cualquier hora del día. Los documentos a ingresar son necesarios para cumplir con el procedimiento de registro en el portal de la logia, según lo exige la ley.
La Domus Fontis no es un hotel, sino una casa de huéspedes, tal y como se describe en todas las plataformas.
Desde el periodo covid hemos decidido preparar el desayuno desde el día anterior para evitar el contacto. Posteriormente hemos mantenido este procedimiento ya que hemos comprobado que los huéspedes lo prefieren porque pueden elegir libremente el momento para su consumo.
Nuestro desayuno incluye: café (Nespresso en la habitación), leche y té (dos hervidores en la habitación), queso, jamón, mantequilla, mermelada, yogur, cruasanes, pan, galletas, zumos de frutas.
Un cordial saludo

Excellent stay
Domus Fontis is situated just steps from the Trevi Fountain. It's a VERY busy area however when you are in your room you cannot hear any noise at all - so peaceful.
Communication (via booking.com where you make your booking) prior was very good.
The set up is a small B&B of just four rooms - it is not a typical hotel or B&B as staff are not on site 24/7 so you need to be quite self-sufficient. Rita, the housekeeper, was there to greet us when we arrived, and each morning she cleans the rooms and sets up the in-room breakfast for your next day (things like pastries, yoghurt, biscuits, meat/cheese, juice etc). This does mean you need to be out of your room each day.
We were able to leave our luggage when we checked out at 11am and were taking a later flight. They were also able to arrange a transfer to the airport for us. Bathroom was good, big, and room was big enough that we did not feel cramped. Very clean.
