Never again....

Room and bathroom dirty with dust not removed in days.
We had to clean the bathroom ourselves in order to use it.
Upon arrival we were charged a higher amount than agreed at the time of booking.
Coffee at the bar counter in the breakfast room with
Cup in hand without saucer....
Of course.
All this reported in the morning at check out

Sorry.... we'll talk to the people who make the rooms.

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED
FULL OF DUST AND MOLD, SCANDALOUS, IT NEVER SEEMS CLEAN SINCE THE OPENING.
SCANDALOUS, AND THEY EVEN ASK YOU 120 EUROS FOR A DOUBLE. REALLY TO AVOID.

Bad experience...

After a gallant dinner, my ‘knight’ chose this Hotel to spend a few hours. Unfortunately it turned out to be a poor choice. Old and dark hotel, small room with a terrible mattress. From the next room you could hear other couples scrambling, with exasperated screams and moans... I later discovered that they were prostitutes with clients. Bad experience.

Loud, old, uncomfortable

First of all: the building is an old 80’s cement building that crumbles away and looks uncared for. The rooms are very outdated, the furniture is old. The chair in the room is hard and uncomfortable, more like a garden chair. There is a kettle but no cups or glasses, no coffee/tea. There is no fridge. The air con is a centralised old system: it can only be switched on or off and then creates a blast. The temperature cannot be adapted.
The bathroom is rather small and the shower shows grime in all corners. There is one of those old fashioned wall mounted hairdryers that is not very effective.
There is a ventilation grit the door which allows the noise from the corridor come straight into the room. As doors can only be closed with a bang there is constant noise that cannot be blocked out by ear plugs.
The breakfast is terrible and only consists of unhealthy items. The room is very uncomfortable (low couch like seating, table cloths from the 70’s). The lady working there is permanently grumpy and mainly chatting away with other staff.
Except for the location right at the Lungomare and the friendly receptionists I would discourage people from staying here. Last year I stayed at Hotel Sirenetta next door which is much better, especially the breakfast.

Shocking breakfast shocking manager

Location is very good as near the beach, near the main square for all the restaurants cafes and a 15 minute walk to the main train station and bus station but that’s where it ends as I would not stay here again.
Entrance looks nice staff very good but for one the manager. We booked for 3 nights 2 rooms as a family room only takes 3 not 4. The hotel which I messaged were totally aware, I was put in room 10 clean comfortable, shower very small and when I went to close the curtains the whole rail fell off, the girl at reception stated it could not be fixed until Monday this was on Friday evening, the hotel was fully booked so I stayed in the room.
Breakfast was shocking awful very poor no meats cheese just awful coffee only allowed one cup and cornflakes, no wonder they say it’s free.
On leaving the hotel on Monday the manager tried to charge us more money then what was agreed with the well known booking company, when I questioned why he stated phone them, you have 3 people in room against the rules, I then pointed out the curtains again he wasn’t bothered no customer service.
I have made a complaint with the booking company and I am waiting for their response
