Pleasant stay

Angela was very welcoming and was usually available if anything was needed throughout the day time. The room was clean and comfortable and facilities were good. The neighbourhood is nice with a few local café's and newsagents nearby. Certainly a place worth returning to in future.

Very good and quiet

The host is attentive and very pleasant.
The room we had (n•5) was spacious, clean and quiet.
We had a private bathroom with everything you needed.
We had the pleasant surprise that our bed was made.
Well located with the metro at the foot and the Colosseum 15 minutes away on foot.

Nice Rooms and a good host

We stayed in Laterano inn for 3 days. It is located next to San Giovanni Metro Station. Land Lady here is very friendly and helpful in sharing the local destinations details, maps and other information. We had booked a double room with shared bathroom. There are total 5 rooms with i guess 3 rooms with shared bathroom option and 2 rooms with private baths. Both the room & bath were very clean & tidy. Room had amenities such as heater, tv, water bottle, wifi, biscuits & tea/coffee maker with accessories as a compliment. A nice place with good connectivity to the city. It is at a walk able distance to Colosseum & Roman forum. No breakfast option available.

Amazing host, spotless rooms and brilliant location

From the minute my boyfriend and I arrived at the Laterano Inn, the host, Angela really couldn't do enough. We stayed in a room with a shared bathroom, however, there was never no waiting around for someone to come out etc. The bedroom itself was very spacious and included air con and a fridge which was a great bonus! The room was cleaned everyday to a standard that was faultless. Angela honestly goes above and beyond to make you feel welcome!
In terms of the location, the hotel is directly facing the San Giovanni metro station which made it very easy to get to all the tourist attractions in good time. I wouldn't recommend the restaurants surrounding the hotel itself, the staff were quite rude and the food very average. The area of Travestere is not far and can be quickly reached by tram or bus right outside the hotel. It's a very nice area filled with loads of restaurants serving excellent quality food.

Great experience

Me and my mum went to Rome for a city break and wanted to stay somewhere close to the great Roman locations and within walking distance of the Metro lines. The Laterano Inn is fantastic and we felt right at home. Angela is very helpful warm host who will point you to all the right places to visit during your stay. The Colosseum and restaurants are within walking distance and the Metro station is right next door to take you to the Trevi Fountain and Castel St Angelo. When I return to Rome I will look to stay here again because of the good location, clean room and amazing hospitality. Grazie Mille Angela for making our stay in Rome a memorable one.
