A great experience!
The room was very clean, the service was very helpful.
The property contacted us via whatsapp the day before explaining all the information for entry.
He also left us in the room on the first day a small “gift” consisting of Pandoro, bottle of wine and two glasses.
Recommended for a couple stay in a quiet area.

Clean room and good location!
The host was very kind and helpful. The room was clean and the location is good. Id stay here again next time i come back in Rome.

Perfect place to stay. Look no further. Centrally located.
What a wonderful place to stay with a wonderful staff. The unit is centrally located in a beautiful residential neighborhood. You can walk to the vatican, take the metro to the Trevi Fountain, or public bus to the coliseum. The bed was very comfortable and the room and bathroom were immaculately clean. Chiara the hostess was wonderful, charming, and extremely kind and informative. She provided us with a private phone number if we had any issues or questions. I would absolutely stay here again.

Perfect Bolt Hole
We stayed 3 nights at Penta Luxury House, and I highly recommend it as a good place to stay. It’s no-frills, (no bar, limited reception times, rooms quite small), but it’s very peaceful, (which is unusual in Rome!!), very clean and nice comfy bed. Ideal for the Vatican, (10 mins walk), with lots of restaurants nearby. Maurizio could not have been more helpful with suggestions of places to visit and eat. I would say it is good value for money, and we loved the location. We had a courtyard facing room to help with noise reduction. Room was cleaned daily.
If you want peaceful, well located, clean rooms, Penta Luxury House is perfect!!

Total Scam - Rude Service and Mouldy Bathrooms
I booked 3 rooms for my family and myself to stay for 4 nights, 5 days.
The rooms were so noisy, filthy and sub-par that we decided to pay more money to stay elsewhere and moved out after only 2 nights.
We ended up only occupying 2 rooms (my aunts were so appalled by the way the staff spoke to us via message, they refused to come to the guesthouse and decided to book a hotel in the historical centre).
The first room my partner and I stayed in was hot and swampy, the bathroom was super small and mouldy with a half broken extractor fan filled with dust and mould. The wifi connection was barely there (it continuously disconnected and reconnected), there were broken ceiling lights and zero sound proofing.
We could clearly hear the women at the front desk chattering and cackling loudly from early morning - their voices woke us up every day. We also heard the vacuum blasting and banging around in the foyer.
Even though I paid for 3 rooms, I initially only received keys to 2 rooms. After being unable to shower in our room due to mould spores and gunk, I requested the keys to the other room I paid for. They didn't respond via message and ignored us the next day. My fiance had to physically fetch the keys from them after some time had elapsed.
We moved to room number 2 and were very disappointed to find that the shower in this room was even dirtier than the previous room. The extractor fan was completely broken, there were dead ceiling lights, the wifi was worse and the aircon did not work at all.
After trying to make the best of it we decided to leave the "guesthouse" to salvage the rest of our trip.
The concierge was dismissive and unaccommodating, the place is far better suited as a student hostel. Naming this place a "luxury guesthouse" is extremely misleading.
All in all the worst accommodation booked on our 3 week trip.
Rome is amazing though! Try to stay closer to the historical centre as well as this location is a 24 EURO taxi ride away from the centre!!

You made a reservation with a totally invalid credit card. Only for this reason we were in the right position to cancel your reservation at all, but we didn't.
The day before your arrival , you didn't take our calls and not even read our mail and messages.
You totally ignored our house rules about check-in procedure, written every where in the web site.
On the arrival day you text us about arrival time , first at 5 pm, than at 8pm (like a joke), but you didn't arrive neither at 5pm nor at 8pm. We wait for you until 9.30pm than we understood you would not arrive and we went home.
No further communications until the time you showed up, 11.50 in the night, not caring about time, people and the fact that we are a guest house NOT an hotel with a permant reception.
Back to Penta for check-in we met very upset and rude people, enter without saiyng good evening, and that, instead of apologizing us, immediately demanded us our excuses .
We apologized not because you were right but to avoid problems for other customers that were sleeping.
Than around midnight and half during check-in procedure althhought reservation was 3 people 3 rooms you started claiming to cancel one room and claiming a refund because you would have sleep only in 2 rooms (1 dbl + sgl)
Because it was after midnight , also if you purchased a non refundable rates for which you would have had no right to refund, we accepted to give you the 3 rooms hoping to stop this mess, but this was not enough.
Despite having tried to explain procedures young man started using very bad words against us. Than after entering the rooms the old man (probably he didn't have enough) left his room and faced us again with bad words.
The next day you did not allow housekeeping to clean the rooms and in the afternoon you started to complain because the rooms was dirty.
You check out one day before - true - but without paying city taxes and late arrival surcharge.
It is very easy to write lies, to publish fake pictures but - unfortunately for you - our attitudes it is proven by over 300 positive reviews, and our position, one km away from Piazza del Popolo, is shown by all city maps.
Probably you didn't get this information because you spent all your time in the room and you have no idea of what Rome is , and how to behave when traveling.
