Dream location, cuisine worthy of great restaurants, and an unbeatable price-quality ratio!
We stayed at this hotel with our family and were thrilled. It is a fantastic property that offers a price-quality ratio that cannot be found elsewhere, perfect for those looking for relaxation, comfort, and excellent cuisine.
The strong points that make it unique:
Spectacular location: The hotel is immersed in absolute peace in the middle of the greenery and mountains of the San Pellegrino Pass. In the morning it is magical to wake up hearing the sound of cowbells in the distance. Furthermore, the convenience is maximum: you can walk out of the hotel and the chairlift is just 30 meters away. Ironically, you can forget your car in the parking lot for days, since the trails and walks start directly from there.
Exceptional and generous cuisine: The level of the catering is amazing. On Sunday evening we were left speechless by a very rich seafood buffet, followed by a first and second course (a quality that is not easily found even at the seaside!). On Wednesday evening the Tyrolean night was another success, with wonderful buffets and roast pork carved live. Furthermore, the management has a flexibility and generosity from another era. A huge round of applause also for the spring water included and free at dinner, a not insignificant attention to the customer.
Ten out of ten cleanliness: Impeccable everywhere. The common areas are cleaned continuously even during meal times and the cleanliness of the rooms is ten out of ten.
Staff and Evenings: All the staff are exquisitely kind. A note of merit for the baby dance that makes the little ones have a lot of fun and for the organized evenings like bingo or the "big quiz" with the external entertainer, which were very successful.
Three small constructive tips for the future:
1. Internal entertainment: While the special evenings were excellent and the kids enjoy the baby dance, the daily entertainment led by the in-house staff (especially during evening games or the aperitif) seemed a bit timid at times. With a little more grit and engagement in managing the games, it would become perfect.
2. Laundry Service: Being located at the top of the Pass, far from the towns in the valley bottom like Moena, managing laundry for those staying for a week with a family is complex. In addition to the dryer provided, adding a coin-operated washing machine or a small in-house paid laundry service would be a very useful and highly appreciated improvement.
3. Wellness Area: The relaxation area is very beautiful, but in the refreshment corner, we would replace the water cooler with cut fruit with a real selection of infusions or cold herbal teas, which leave much more flavor and are more refreshing.
The hotel confirms itself as an exceptional property from every point of view. We recommend it with our eyes closed and will definitely return!

Very scenic
Good hotel, the strong points are definitely the location, the cleanliness, the food, the quietness for sleeping; after 6 PM no cars pass through the pass, you only hear some cowbells of cows grazing, recommended hotel, excellent quality/price ratio.

Top experience.
Everything perfect, from the cleanliness to the kind and courteous staff, to the very rich buffet. I would recommend a washing machine since it is structured especially for families with children, there is only a dryer, and maybe a kettle to keep at the reception for those who might need one (I needed it to heat water for my son at night but they didn't have one.) For the rest, nothing to say, we will definitely be back.

Unprofessional - friendliness absent.
Clean and cozy room.
Half board service: good breakfast and dinner, I didn't eat everything, but this depends on taste.
Reception more than insufficient: on arrival they obviously greeted us and gave us the keys to the room; hotel hours and services had been sent to me previously by email with the check-in form. So far, it's okay. In the evening, dinner time, we entered the room turning between the tables to look for ours; the waiters passed by and nobody said anything. Not finding accommodation, we stopped a waitress and asked her where we could sit. Answer: "first you have to do the reception." Welcome? There was no one at the entrance to the hall to welcome us. We had dinner and left; no one greeted us at the entrance and no one greeted us at the exit. Breakfast with the same lack of hospitality. When we arrived at the table, no one approached us to ask what we wanted to drink: coffee, cappuccino... or to give us directions on the service. Buffet table with sweet and savoury and drinks, all self-service. Good morning was not given to us. I wasn't looking for "a bow," just a little manners. After the holiday, we left the hotel passing by the office to leave the room key; had the bill been settled the night before at their request by 6:30 pm, to say goodbye? Nobody.

Hotel and management TOP
I don't usually review hotels, but for San Marco I make an exception. Located right on the slopes, next to it is the children's school camp on one side and a chairlift that leads to the summit on the other. The hotel is a three star but it is worth four, kitchen with plenty of choice and all quality dishes, excellent spa, swimming pool with warm water rare thing to find in the mountains where almost everywhere there is cold water, talented entertainers, covered parking, children's area not great but perfectly managed by the talented Giada, squash court on the -2 floor, ski instructors directly at the hotel bar and super Flavio to organize snowshoeing. Apart from that I would like to add a note of merit for the hotel managers who are really brilliant. Almost everywhere a bottle of water costs between 3 and 5 euros, at the San Marco instead they let you find the carafe with delicious and free water. Surprise also the tombola, folders even free (one per person) and rich prizes including a free week at the hotel San Marco for those who do tombola. In addition, a gadget is also offered when paying the bill. So really congratulations, not surprisingly the hotel is always full and it is difficult to find a place. Keep it up.
