amazing location in the centre of town, perfect base to visit isola bella.

Not a bed and breakfast as stated and has no facilities that stated
What I liked · I don't know how to rate what I liked and disliked for a simple reason. I booked for three nights. The first night I spent in one room and two more in another. During Reservation there is no choice of several rooms. There is only generic information. The double room with twin beds or double bed. And there are no double beds anyway.
Why did I ask if it is possible to change the room after the first night? Because air conditioner area was old and noisy. You could not sleep and if I spent it already after five minutes the room temperature reached almost thirty degrees. Since I booked stay for July air conditioning area was indispensable. I had a nightmare night. In the bathroom the shower door was broken. Phon old and noisy.
When I contacted the property the next morning they changed my room. In this second room there was air conditioner in better condition BUT not in the bedroom but in the first room where there is wardrobe and two closed beds. Air conditioning does not arrive well in the bedroom but at least it is not noisy.
Both rooms I stayed in were clean. In the first room there was no balcony, in the second yes. Footage is near the bed. Location is good. Near the lake and pier. Neighborhood where Rent-Rooms is located is noisy since the structure is located in the historic center that is already small and almost all restaurants and bars in the city are concentrated there. Respect parking I can not say anything because I came by train.
WI FI I had mine.
In the bathroom inside shower cabin there is no shelf to place just shampoo, there is a bottle of soap inserted on the wall.
What did not like · Luggage storage is not there but is stated to exist. If you consider corridor between rooms into which you can enter any person who knows code to open the door, then yes, luggage storage is there. You can leave your bags in this hallway hoping no one touches them. Before booking I phoned the property and asked if you can leave luggage before check in and after check out. They said yes. But actually on the last day that I wanted to take advantage and visit something more since my train was at 6.50pm I could not do. I didn't feel like leaving my suitcase in the hallway. I have called so many times to mobile number that you can see in Booking. No one answered. I left audio - message but no one answered. Later in the site of the structure I found a landline number and the person who answered said he will put my suitcase in the restaurant that they run. So it was my last day of vacation. I wasted so much time getting my suitcase ready.
I respect the invoice I asked three times but as the Lady who manages Rent-Rooms was always in a hurry every time she told me that I will have some the next day.
On the day of arrival the Lady took the photo of my ID, took the money, gave me the keys to the room and immediately left. We met twice and each time less than five minutes. The receipt, not received, I had before departure from another collaborator who gave me my suitcase back before the departure of my train and anyway I had to ask for a total of 4 times to get the receipt. Recepcion Zone is not there. Everything is done above shelf on the ground floor inside the building where the rooms are located.
It is not a Bed & Breakfast because they do not offer breakfast for free or for a fee, it is only a Rent-Rooms.
For me mattress was so hard. Absence of teaspoons to be able to mix sugar since there is kettle with two old plastic cups. There were no tea bags or sugar but you buy this in the supermarket. I have no pretensions.

This hotel is more like individual apartments right in the centre of Stresa which in many ways was perfect for our trip. Negative points though, the air conditioning was incredibly noisey we dubbed it "the noise maker", but it was impossible to circulate air in the room any other way - window small and ineffective, the whole room was very stuffy most of the time. Also having photos of a breakfast area is very misleading, not only is breakfast not included in the price it is not available at the associated restaurant where you need to go to collect key! On a positive note in addition to the good location there apartment felt roomy, there was a fridge in a separate hallway to the bed, given no breakfast a shame that no plates/cutlery are provided.

Great hotel!!
Very good location, comfortable rooms with private toilets... Would recommend it to my friends... Reasonable prices and very friendly staff... The rooms is equipped with air-conditions which are great during summer time in the lake area

Cheap and cheerful
Basic room. Clean but shower was a little meldewy and the shower curtain was a bit smelly.
But it was right in the centre of stresa so very convenient.
Free parking mentioned in the hotel description is on road public parking which may be a little misleading
