Like home!
Stayed a couple of nights in this lovely b&b in the heart of Goriano Valli. Environment completely renovated and managed impeccably by Luca. In addition to being a very kind and very helpful host he also turned out to be a very good nature photographer.

Excellent.
Paul of Tarsus, in his Epistle to Titus, writes: "Omnia Munda Mundis" ( i.e. "Everything is pure for the pure in heart and soul).
Certainly Luca, the owner of the B & B Goriano Valli, located in the hamlet of the same name, in the L'Aquila Apennines, is a pure heart, a sensitive and delicate person of soul, but not for this superficial and naive.
On the contrary, like Abruzzo, the land that gave birth to him, Luca is a "Strong and Gentile" person, as he knows the roughness and difficulties of life (and knows how to face them), but at the same time he knows how to preserve the generosity, kindness and smile that are typical of a little all Abruzzo.
Fernando Pessoa wrote: "The journey is the travellers", in the sense that what we see is not really what we see, but what we are, because the journey is above all an inner process that transforms the traveller. In fact, never as in this case, the person who arrives in these places is considerably different, in his deepest identity, from the person who leaves, because during the stay a great and significant journey has been made within themselves, bringing to light aspects of us that were hitherto unknown to us.
I conclude with the words of William Shakespeare, who wrote: "Parting is such a sweet sorrow" (i e. "Separating is such a sweet pain"), in the sense that, when you leave this place, although so simple and devoid of any consumerist ambition, deep down in your heart you feel an discomfort that resembles so much the melancholy of nostalgia for a little inner happiness that we had to leave behind!

Like in a fairy tale....
We were greeted by the smile and grace of the owner Luca and the parties of his dog Pallina.
The door opens onto a courtyard ofWonders.Small and delicious where in the morning Luca prepares breakfast made of a good variety of genuine and tasty desserts.The large, spotless and cozy room equipped with every confort.The bed sheets smelled of fresco.Il bathroom with large shower and an impeccable cleaning.The true value of this BB is Luca with his sensitivity as a naturalist photographer and a kindness of other tempi.I his stories capture the attention and stop the slow flowing time in his courtyard furnished with simplicity and cura.Una care that is noticed in every detail of this enchanted and magical place where time stops and you breathe pure air away from the chaos of mondo.Il enveloping silence of the valley and the village of Goriano are the setting for the serene and fulfilling stay that we spent qui.Siamo really excited and grateful for finding such a fairytale place to spend our vacanza.Tutto credit to Luca and Pallina.

WONDERFUL EXPERIENCE IN THE SNOW
We stayed with family (4 people and our Czechoslovak lupetta) during Epiphany with still the presence of snow in the surroundings. Luca, the owner of the structure is a "pure" guy, friendly and full of enthusiasm when he talks about his places of origin, we felt immediately at home especially when we met his dog "Pallina" (the story of its adoption is beautiful and moving), the B%B is almost similar to a medieval castle, simply renovated with care and attention respecting the originality of the building, surrounded by a village inhabited by a hundred "souls", nothing is missing in the rooms despite their simplicity, comfortable mattresses, we requested some additional pillows promptly delivered to us (I recommend Luca to always keep a few extra pillows for those used to sleeping with more pillows). In each room Luca has compiled a list of attractions and places to visit nearby, as well as recommended restaurants and pizzerias. Breakfast is essential with quality and fresh local produce. I point out a note of merit x Luca who, despite the distance from the most served locations and holidays, has also worked to recover Gluten Free products x the breakfast of my celiac wife. What about, TOP we can only show all our gratitude for this. Luca is an excellent photographer who captures the natural beauty (flora and fauna) of the place, as you can see from the wonderful prints he exhibits and sells to those who want it. The wonderful company of the legendary dog Pallina completes everything and we felt comfortable even x the welcome to our "snow wolf". On the next occasion Luca even if we will not be able to book with you, we will do everything to come and visit you.

An oasis of peace and tranquility in Abruzzo.
Apart from the impeccable cleanliness of our rooms and the services provided by the b & b, including a great and varied breakfast that was served in the cozy inner courtyard, the added value is undoubtedly the host Luca whom I congratulate for the kindness, availability and generosity that dispenses to its guests. Highly recommended to "unplug" enjoying a unique atmosphere.
