Highly recommended

Very welcoming property located in the small village of Tiso near San Pietro and Santa Maddalena, from where you can go on beautiful hikes, even for beginners.
Gasthof Teiser Stern offers outdoor parking and an indoor garage and a beautiful pool in which to relax. The kind and professional staff made our vacation very pleasant while the top-level cuisine really surprised us. Congratulations!

Reception, cleanliness and quality cuisine at an honest price

We just had a fantastic stay at this mountain hotel and were more than satisfied! The assigned rooms were spacious and well cleaned, with comfortable beds and all the amenities you need, perfect families with luggage and equipment. The hotel has a really good value for money, especially considering the panoramic location and all the services included.
Breakfast and dinner were excellent, with typical local dishes and fresh ingredients — every day we sat enthusiastically to enjoy the menu, and the staff in the room were always friendly and attentive to everyone's needs. The on-site restaurant is a real added value, convenient for not having to look for other places, and the food really lived up to expectations.
The location of the hotel is strategic: surrounded by greenery, with easy access to trails and local attractions, but also easy to reach by car or motorcycle. This made our stay perfect for daytime excursions and quiet evenings at the hotel. The staff was very helpful with advice on walks and must-see view points.
In summary, we highly recommend this property to those looking for a great value mountain hotel, clean rooms, good food and perfect location to explore the Funes Valley and nearby areas!

Very good choice when travelling to Dolomites

All amazing, but highlight the kindness of the woman who received us at reception and accompanied us in our stay at breakfast/dinner. Very good room, spacious, terrace with views. Spacious bathroom and very good location. Very good breakfast with very rich gluten-free options.

Family holiday with dogs in Val di Funes

Small family-run hotel clean, friendly staff, impeccable half Pension service, characterized by a varied and stocked breakfast between sweet and savory, instead dinner varied evening to evening with barbecue, pets welcome (two medium-sized dogs), equipped with swimming pool and play areas, deserves a 4 star. Highly recommended.

Discovered by chance, it feels like family

The structure is very welcoming, especially because the family management is perceived in all aspects of the hotel. Very spacious room, with exceptional view. Interesting location: a few dozen minutes by car takes you to Bolzano/Merano. In winter the landscape is very beautiful, we will definitely try it in summer. Highly recommended.
