Pleasant stay

Excellent location, easily reachable from Rome, well-connected to public transport, with all the main services in the immediate vicinity. Fairly large parking lot, free and covered, with no architectural barriers. Modern and functional elevator. Soundproofed and air-conditioned rooms, with large windows, a safe, TV, and Wi-Fi. Punctual and discreet cleaning. The furniture is a bit dated and sparse, unlike the connected sister hotel, which features even more evocative decor and offers all the dining services—which are excellent, by the way—a splendid spa, gym, and lounges, as well as a beautiful indoor bar area, which I always found closed and without any service staff.
Pool in a clean and welcoming environment. Large and fairly well-maintained green areas. Ideal for a relaxing, private, and rejuvenating stay. A little bit of entertainment wouldn't be bad, but it was a very pleasant experience nonetheless.

Pleasant stopover on the way back from vacation.

Excellent location for breaking up the return trip from Calabria.
Quiet room overlooking the garden.
Good dinner and breakfast.

Not worth returning

Old facility; if it were functional, it would not be a problem, quite the opposite.
Advance payment (4 days), I understand the reason, they did well otherwise I would have left earlier.
Reception staff, not a single one was smiling or courteous, all very rude, hoping you won't ask any questions otherwise it would be 'too much trouble.'
They depend entirely on the hotel next door, but you cannot use the outdoor pool (shared a few years ago).
Room cleaning, let's not even go there, but overall it is the least of the issues.
Poor breakfast.
I used to come here many years ago, but after these 4 days, never again, I am sorry

Two days in Tivoli.

We stayed for two nights with breakfast included. We found excellent hospitality, availability, and kindness. The room was missing a set of towels, but the hotel promptly provided them. The automatic card keys allowed us to check in after 11 AM. Good and varied breakfast. Thank you.

Friendly reception by reception Hotel Duca d'Este (same owner more recent hotel), booked online after 22h no one present from press in Hotel Tivoli, was momentarily shocked that our online reservation was lost!
Breakfast little present, little choice, room clean
