Exceptional Kindness and Hospitality at Michels Guesthouse
We ended up at Michels Guesthouse in Nazareth completely by surprise due to a booking error through Hotels.com, which left us without a room during the Christmas holidays. Michels Guesthouse stepped in with the greatest generosity and helpfulness — even outside normal opening hours — after being contacted by the hotel where we could no longer stay. They went out of their way to make sure we had a lovely room that same evening, and we truly felt cared for.
As we were about to walk the Jesus Trail from Nazareth to Capernaum over four days, we were also able to safely and easily store the luggage we didn’t need at Michels Guesthouse. Everything was handled professionally and securely — and at no extra cost, which really shows their kindness and generosity.
A special thanks goes to Emil at the reception, who made everything come together. He was calm, helpful, and attentive throughout our stay.
And the breakfast absolutely deserves a mention! It was fantastic — with fresh salads, delicious omelets, wonderful bread, fresh juices, and good coffee and tea. A perfect start to the day.
All in all, Michels Guesthouse is a truly wonderful place to stay in Nazareth. We are still deeply grateful for the experience, even now that we are back in Copenhagen — and we sincerely hope to return.

The Michel House is. a beautiful place just on the edge of the old city. It has been renovated with modern amenities but still holds the original feel. The view from the rooftop is spectacular. The manager and the owner were very kind and welcoming.
The hardest part was getting there through the city and the parking. But since it it in the center of the city, I guess that is to be expected.
Since it is family owned, early morning and late hours are harder to get a hold of someone, but they try to accommodate this with several contact numbers.

A true pearl in the heart of Nazareth, a romantic and inspiring couple experience.
A magical weekend.
On the occasion of my wife’s birthday I decided to give her a short and special holiday – and we stayed at the boutique hotel “House Michel” in the heart of the Old Town.
Already at the entrance Michelle waited for us with a wide smile, helped us with parking, and upgraded us to a superior room with an impressive high ceiling – at the price of a regular room.
Here you are:
Michelle and Emile gave recommendations patiently and smiling about magical places around.
Great location – minutes from the market, restaurants and bars.
An ancient stone house from the Byzantine period, full of character and fragrance of once.
A delicious breakfast made by my grandfather himself.
Balconies with breathtaking views of the whole city.
Beyond all of this, what made the holiday truly special was the broad heart of the hosts, Michelle and Emile, the feeling of home, and the authentic atmosphere that surrounded us from all over.
In one word, magic.
