Tropical Lagoon Resort

Located in Port Antonio, Tropical Lagoon Resort is on the waterfront. Trident Castle and Folly Ruins are local landmarks, and the area's natural beauty can be seen at Blue Lagoon and San San Beach. Surfing/body boarding offers a great chance to get out on the surrounding water, or you can seek out an adventure with ecotours nearby. At Tropical Lagoon Resort, relax by one of the 2 outdoor swimming pools or spend the day at the private sand beach where you can enjoy kayaking. Tropical Lagoon Resort offers 14 accommodations, which are accessible via exterior corridors and feature safes and complimentary bottled water. Rooms open to balconies or patios. These individually decorated and furnished accommodations have separate sitting areas. Beds feature premium bedding. Full-sized refrigerators/freezers, microwaves, and coffee/tea makers are provided. Bathrooms include complimentary toiletries and hair dryers. Flat-screen televisions come with premium cable channels. Additionally, rooms include irons/ironing boards and ceiling fans. Housekeeping is offered daily and in-room massages can be requested. 2 outdoor swimming pools are on site along with a children's pool. Excellent Portland stay

Had a great time at the resort. The views were beautiful and the staff were very polite . We will definitely return

Superb atmosphere, very relaxing!

The space was so calm, temperature wise- cool and had the best view anyone could ask for, literally overlooking the blue lagoon water body! Excellent service by the general manager Donovan as well!

Beautiful Holiday at Tropical.Lagoon

We loved at stay at the pretty Tropical Lagoon. The room was clean and lovely, the view from.the pool deck spectacular, the pool lovely for a dip. The walk steep walk down to the famous Blue Lagoon was well worth the effort. There were good restaurants nearby and other beaches too - easy to jump a route taxi to on the side of the road. And same thing for nearby waterfalls and river rafting and Moore Town. All so easily accessible via route taxi. The staff were friendly and helpful and Monsieur Donovan was the epitome of a.caring host. I recommend Tropical Lagoon for your holiday in the prettiest parish in all of Jamaica, Portland. Almost There

Portland is a Parish I like because of the lush green trees and beautiful beaches.
So opting for Tropical Lagoon was a good choice. The resort wasn't what we expected when we showed up. Almost lifeless, scarely any other visitors and the property seem run down due to unfinished construction. However, we made use of it and to our surprise we were able to have some fun. The rooms were OK but needed home care such as dusting, proper making up of the bed and room service. The price of the breakfast wasn't worth it so opted to eat out after that. The beach bar needs some TLC but Steven customer service made us ignore the esthetics. The kayaking on the lagoon was fun...the water was beautiful and calm and the mineral spring was ok. Need some improvement... maybe seats alongside it or perhaps inside it. Donovan, our point person was very accommodating and helpful right through the reservation to the checkout. Once, the construction is completed and the cate and upkeep of the property is maintained, tropical lagoon will surpass its former glory.

We booked for two nights. Two couples.
Don, the General Manager was fantastic.
Very impressed with his quick responses to questions, before arrival and during our stay
Although the property is being upgraded, hence we had a few little hiccups. But overall, loved the ambiance. The positioning is close to Winnifred beach and Boston bay/Jerk. Worth a visit.
