Heaven is here!
What a discovery!
The holy peace, the warm and turquoise sea with its transparent water, the long beach and without seaweed or rocks.... Sheer wonder.
The small bar to have a few cocktails...Thanks to Gary...and a restaurant where meals are varied and delicious. Several restaurants and bars can also be reached within walking distance of the beach. The waitresses are always very friendly and professional.
The rooms are identical to the website of the hotel ...
No doubt that all included will no longer be part of my choices!
Thank you to all employees.
It’s only goodbye because we will definitely come back!

Relaxing Beach Holiday
The hotel is small and friendly with check-in being quick and easy. Our cottage was clean and ready for us. We had everything we needed - fridge, kettle, coffee machine, air-conditioning, ceiling fan, hairdryer, safe and little machine to put your mozzie tabs in. You can buy the tabs from the shop across the road.
Check out was just as easy. Our bill was delivered the night before, we returned the safe lock and key, our luggage was collected and brought to reception ready for our airport transfer.
I'll mention the few negatives for us.
No information in the cottage about the hotel or local area. We had to ask about opening hours for the bar and restaurant.
The shower room needs the mould cleaning from the shower. It definitely does not look like the management photo provided.
The toilet area wasn't cleaned very well during our stay and began to smell. Some of the towels were old and past their best (but clean).
The positives, which absolutely outweigh the negatives.
Country Country location is fantastic - across the road there is a bank, supermarket, pharmacy, various touristy shops and a restaurant. There is also a shop to the right as you walk onto the beach one hotel along.
The beach and sea were wonderful - so relaxing and safe.
We ate mostly in the hotel and although waiting times are a little long the food was good and we had enough variety over two weeks to keep us going. We also ordered food to go a couple of times and ate on our veranda.
Staff and guests were friendly & chatty, we enjoyed meeting new people from Jamaica, USA, Canada and the UK.
Security do a great job on the beach and the road side.
Overall we had the most wonderful holiday and would absolutely stay at Country Country again.

The beauty of Country Country beach Cottages.
My partner and I have just returned home “in Jamaica”. After, having the most beautiful, relaxing week away at “Country Country Beach Cottages” Norman Manley Boulevard Negril.
Now, the hotel itself has a rustic intimate feeling and our room was stunning. The bed was a massively oversized four poster Bamboo bed.
The decor made me feel as if I’d been transported back into time.. Being given the opportunity to relive falling in love again and all the memories attributed.
The room we had was a premiere room, situated on the first floor, which was the top floor. The overall structure and setting of this hotel can be seen as very similar to “Pre” Colonial Jamaica... We felt free, unrestricted and happy. The staff were kind, helpful and funny.. They treated all guests with kindness, dignity and we didn’t feel it was forced either.
The manager “Monique” was professional, helpful and approachable with a smile.
Also onsite, there is the daily option of the small family pool or the beach?!. Every day, we choose the BEACH!! The best for us!…
Now yes, with each hotel comes a segment of sand/and sea. However, when we ventured up and down “Gods” 7 mile stretch of White Sands. We did so without restriction.
Each morning we awoke and were in the sea by 05.40AM. Watching the sun rise at 05.43AM. Ladies and Gentlemen. All, my life my parents had reiterated the beauty of a Negril sunrise. However, you have to actively be there, and feel the fresh suns rays dancing on your face as you frolic in the sea. To really appreciate the celestial beauty. Which is a Negril Sunrise…
Now, I know I’ve gone on a bit. However, my partner and I have traveled the world. He has visited at least 5 of the world’s 7 continents. Yet, Jamaica continues to blow his mind and after our stay at Country, Country here in Negril. All, that’s left to be done is to return, relive and reset here.
So come and enjoy, experience and embrace the vibe of a step back in time. As, we all deserve a beautiful sunrise or two in our lives….
