Please put in someffort.......
Don't bother asking the owner (situated at the yakiniku house next door) for anything coz the only time he'd bother talking to you is when you check in & make payment.
Many may argue that you can't ask much for what you pay......I'd say I've seen many other better places with similar charges. My 2-cents to the ryokan owner: please put in "some" effort (can't ask for "more" looking at their attitude......) in maintaining the place.

Good for what you pay
Things to note
Is out if abashiri - not an issue for us we had a rail pass but there was fairly limited services
You pay extra for heating - 500 yen a night - worth it
The landlord speaks very little English and runs the restaurant next door that's where you will find her to check in
There is shared fridges but that's about it.
The bathrooms and toilets are good.
But all considering how cheap it was would stay there again.

安かろう…
安い。素泊まりで一人2000円、個室でこのお値段はなかなかないでしょう。
ちなみに 朝食はプラス800円でつけることができます。
お風呂が広い。バスタブもゆったりサイズ。
駅から近い。でも網走方面、北見方面どちらにしても本数が少ないので要注意です。バスもありますがこちらも本数少ないので要注意。
とにかく見た目のインパクトは強烈です。
同行者は「バグダッドカフェだね」と笑いましたが、あんなエンターテイメントはもちろんありません。
屋根の上の傾いた看板。
しかも電気が切れてる。
中へ入ります。
リフォームしてあります。部屋は外見よりきれいです。
でもケミカルな匂いが強すぎて、窓を開けるも網戸がないので虫が飛びこんできます。
カーペットは明らかにしばらく掃除機をかけていないのがわかります。
照明の傘の上、テレビの後ろ、埃が重なり合っています。
壁は薄いです。気になる方は耳せんをお忘れなく。
共有スペースの枯れた観葉植物。
だいぶ前から故障中であろう乾燥機。
ツッコミどころはいろいろありますが、安さ最優先で潔癖さん以外は楽しめる宿でしょう。
