The exterior lights from the building across the street lit up the room all night because we had to leave the curtains open to let the air in. The fan was plugged in next to the bathroom with the sketchy cord strung across the floor under the door way.
My partner tripped over the fan cord in the middle of the night causing bruises on her leg.
So we did not get a good sleep and sustained injuries.
Next day sucked walking around tired and sore but we had our sight seeing itinerary to fulfill.
Second night we just grabbed our things put the key in the self checkout box and moved to another hotel with AC

Bare minimum overnight hotel
For those with heavy luggage , you can enter via basement with the elevator bringing you to lobby on 1st level. Glad to have one of the staff coming out of the hotel to help us with the luggage and directing us to the reception.
However most staff at the hotel did not speak good English but somehow managed to survive through the overnight stay. Breakfast was not included but we paid 1650 Yen for in my view passable breakfast.
Room is bare minimum somehow showing the old age and what I don’t like is the dim walkway leading to the room. Rooms come with heater which is too hot for me so I have to turn it off and open the window.
As also mentioned in other review , I do not like the washing machine placed at the lobby in a somehow dark corner !
Overall the stay is pleasant with food options about 10 mins walk away closer to JR station.

The room size was perfect for my needs.
The staff that work here are incredible. 👏
