Simple, comfortable and great location

After our first, two-week stay in 2012, we attended again a Japanese course in Fukuoka, this time for four weeks, and stayed again at Access Tenjin.
I would like to confirm all my good impressions from our first stay.
- Excellent location: underground stations are close, Tenjin railway station and Hakata railway station can be reached also on foot. Watanabe-dori and other shopping districts are in walking distance too.
- Small but comfortable and clean serviced apartment with well-equipped small kitchen and small balcony
- Very, very friendly and helpful staff
- Washing machines available
On top of this, free wifi is available and working very well.
Again, I would definitely recommend Access Tenjin for longer stays in Fukuoka.

Comfortable Serviced Apartment

We spent two weeks in the hotel while attending a Japanese course in Fukuoka. The language school took care of finding and booking this accommodation. The location is very practical, around two hundred meters from the Watanabe-dori, one of the busiest area of Fukuoka with plenty of restaurants, yatai (food stalls), bars and shops. The Tenjin subway station is slightly farther away. The serviced apartment we got was probably an apartment for one person where they put an additional bed but still it was fairly big for two people; it was simple, very clean and well equipped with kitchen facilities, spacious wardrobe and a balcony.
On the ground floor there is a room with two computers free Internet connection for the customers and some washing machines and dryers.
The staff was extremely kind and patient and helped us with each and every question we had, in particular whenever it was about finding the right washing machine wash cycles in Japanese…
The room rate was average for Japanese standards.
Based on location, cleanliness and friendly atmosphere, we would definitely recommend this accommodation for longer stays in Fukuoka.

Very nice City Hotel

I went to Fukuoka in summer 2012 and was looking for a hotel to fulfill basic needs. Not too expensive, close to public transport, nice and clean.
Location:
In a side street of one of the major streets in Fukuoka, Watanabe-dori, and just a few minute walk from the subway or bus stations. Location could hardly be better.
Pricing:
Not expensive, especially for Japan.
Room:
My room had a very nice size, a normal (one person) bed and bathroom/bath tub en suite with a small balcony. The hotel also offers (free) internet and a fridge in the room, which I found very convenient. Also, of course, air conditioning.
Service:
The room was clean all of the time, the hotel is run by a very nice family that also offers free coffee in the entrance area in the morning.
24h entrance and security guard are also present.
I can highly recommend this hotel to everyone that is not looking for luxury, but a base for their exploration of Fukuoka.

Immer wieder gerne...

... buche ich im Access Tenjin ein Zimmer für meine jährlichen Fukuoka-Aufenthalte. Die Räumlichkeit ist zweckmäßig und vor allem sehr zentral gelegen. Fußläufig kann man viel erreichen, U-Bahn, S-Bahn, auch der Hakata-Bahnhof (Shinkansen) ist noch zu Fuß erreichbar. Die Kosten für das Zimmer sind überschaubar und für Fukuoka-Tenjin günstig. Ansonsten ist noch die äußerst freundliche Art und Weise des Personals und deren Hilfsbereitschaft zu erwähnen. Die Tatsache, daß ich nun schon viele Jahre hier buche, spricht eigentlich für sich: also klare Empfehlung!

Jährliche Pflichtübung

Bei meinen jährlichen Besuchen in Fukuoka steige ich regelmäßig im Access Tenjin ab. Günstige Raten, und freundliche und hilfsbereite Crew. Hier hat sich im Laufe der Jahre schon ein fast familiäres Verhältnis entwickelt, das ich nicht mehr missen möchte. Sehr zentral gelegen.
