Perfect pension

Kayoko san is a perfect host! Lovely pension, great food and a beautiful onsen. Can’t wait to return, already looking forward to next year!

Brillant!

Firstly, Kayoko-San is an amazing host who went out of her way to make sure we had a great holiday. She picked us up from the train station, transported us to and from the resort each day and even drove us to Hatchimanti when we reluctantly left. Nothing was too much trouble for her.
The food was absolutely incredible. We were treated to traditional Japanese meals that were both delicious and beautifully presented, proudly made with local Iwate produce. The portions are huge! I'd return for the food alone.
Our room was massive and the onsen perfect after riding all day.
Overall, we had a wonderful stay at Pension Mutti. The service was unbelievable, the food was amazing, and the value for money was excellent. Already booked for next year!

Excellent accommodation and superb gourmet!

It’s a fabulous experience living here. Comfy bed and duvet, nice Onsen (ignore the pic in their website, it is much much better in real!
You will also be amazed by the food here. The host made us full course dinner and breakfast which are with supreme quality.
Highly recommend you to stay here if you are skiing at Appi or just to enjoy the greenery during other time of year!

Fabulous Pension with the most wonderful host!

Pension Mutti is a lovely Pension with a cosy feel and a beautiful Onsen. Kayoko is the kindest, most attentive and socially engaging host I have had the pleasure of staying with. Breakfast and dinner is outstanding and excellent value. I could not recommend Pension Mutti more! Thank you

Wonderful service at an unbelievably good deal

Service is unbelievably good: daily ride to the ski resort; travel pass arrangement with the best deal; excellent breakfast and dinner; more important is, the price is pretty low. Really good value for money.
