Small bed and breakfast middle in the fields of Biei.
Very nice owners.
The rooms are basic and clean. We had to share the bathroom.
Breakfast is excellent.
Be aware that Biei is a very small town and has very few restaurants open for diner.

Nice cafe

I love the cafe! It serves a very nice caramel softserve. I love the lavender and milk swirl. Do try it! The cafe staffs are very friendly and nice. I would definitely come back again for the yummy ice cream!

Charming with beautiful views, warm hosts

We were here for two nights and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The cottage is charming and spotlessly clean. The owners were both very nice and accommodating. We drove from Chitose airport to Biei, and arrived at the cottage at past midnight, which was much later than anticipated. Our hosts very kindly waited to let us in, which made our arrival very welcoming.
After arriving in the dead of the night, we woke up to a beautiful view of a colourful garden bed and very green fields beyond. The location of this cottage is excellent and the surrounds picturesque. The popular Ken & Mary tree is right outside the property. It is a short drive to many other popular attractions.
Our breakfast was substantial, with some tasty bread with local cheese (which Hokkaido is known for), fruits and sausage. The room was adequately furnished with sufficient heating and amenities. We would recommend this place for a relaxing stay.

Nice Homely Pension with great views

We stayed at this pension for 3 nights as all accommodation were full for the summer and must admit it turned out to be one of our best stays during the summer. Though we had to share bathrooms, the pension was very clean and well maintained with comfortable beds and a lovely view to wake up to each morning while we had our breakfast. Truly the view at the pension is what Biei represents and this is what you are paying for as the rates are rather expensive for a pension accommodation. However, it was a very memorable experience to live in the countryside and the hosts were warm and friendly.
