貴重なお宿
築400年の武家屋敷をそのまま宿として利用しているということで、行ってみました。
わたしは素泊まりでしたが、当時の大名料理が味わえるようです。1階の台所からは、素朴なお醤油とお砂糖のにおいが漂ってきました。興味のある人は食事つきで泊まるのもいいでしょう。
玄関先からお部屋までたいへん清潔で、奥さまがていねいに掃除をなさっているのでしょう。
与えられた部屋の壁の下部分には、漢文の書物の紙片が貼り巡らされていました。
古い建物は、物音が聞こえて当たり前です。今風の宿に慣れた人は、遠慮して普通のビジネスホテルでも泊まったほうがいいと思います。ましてや子連れ家族はすべてが不便に思え、アウトでしょう。
チェックアウトの日は、早朝に隣りの大野市に行くため、荷物を預かってくださるように頼みましたが、快く引き受けてくださいま した。お昼に引き取りに行き、あいさつをしましたら、ご主人がうれしそうに手を振って別れの言葉を述べてくださいました。この笑顔は、忘れることがありません。
中庭には池があり、錦鯉が泳いでいました。

I don't want to go there again.
I was forced to stay because I had no other accommodation to go skiing with my children.
It's not improved at all, as many other people have said.
First of all, I couldn't find the parking lot and called but nobody answered. I had no choice but to park in the parking lot in front of me and invite the other guests through the front door several times, until finally the old lady came out in a grumpy mood, making excuses that it was too much for her to do it alone. I'm already anxious at this point.
Sure enough, I was then passed through a dark, cold hallway into a room, and then into another room, just my husband, because it was too small for a family of four. He begged her to join him in bemusement, and to lay the futon herself.
Plus, there is no guide to what time or where dinner is.
Only the Japanese-style communal lavatory was too scared to take a bath.
Dinner is even less expensive for children.
You can ask for water and they forget.
The rice also tastes not so good cold. The dish is also a side dish from some supermarket.
The hallways were too cold and dark for my kids to go to the bathroom alone.
The futon was also small, and even I, who was 164cm long, could get my legs out, so I shrank and slept.
I had trouble sleeping because I was worried about security with other customers due to the fusuma partition.
What's more, there's a dog hanging around the house.
It's just an excuse to be deceived because you're old or because you're a cultural heritage site with such terrible content. As long as it takes a lot of money, I want you to do your job properly.
48,000 yen for a family of four is too much.
I don't want to go there again and I don't want you to go there either.

NEVER STAY
I went there with my family. we had a trouble in room charge when check-out.
They said no-charge for children when I made the reservation. But actually not. They strongly demanded us to pay it for another bed. So we were confused of that absurd. Several times they threatened us that they'd be calling the police. Then I was almost forced paying for that as they're demanding. As of now, still I've felt they were trying to trick us illegally. I think It's almost the fraud.
Also their beds caused a horrible symptoms of my tick allergy for sure and my son's conjunctivitis of his left eye probably. Their hygine of bed clothes and entire the room seemed not good I guess. Moreover their bed clothes were too small to cover my entire body which is 5′ 1.42″.
The room security was very poor.
The building is structurally unsound and any huge earthquakes'd easily smash it.
But the building is extremely old and you could feel something interesting or shabby.
The bath was spacious enough for our family.
So the rate is normal without the absurd above. But indivisually, I'll NEVER come there again though.
As a Japanese, I do reccommend other Japanese-style hotels nearby to non-Japanese. That's because I'm sure they would be able to offer you their true, warm Japanese Hospitality that this hotel doesn't have.

宿というレベルに達してない
県の文化財に指定されているらしく、古いながらも歴史のある趣きで悪くはなかった。部屋が「ばあちゃん家」みたいなのも含めて、嫌いじゃない。
だがちょっと、接客が宿というレベルに達してない。
部屋に案内しただけで風呂や食事の案内は一切なく、こちらからつかまえて情報収集せねばならん。
風呂は発泡スチロールのふたがかかったまま。自分でふたをよけると発泡スチロールくずが湯船に浮かんでいる。
食事は写真がすべてなので、ネット上にある写真と見比べていただければと。
かなりの高齢者が運営しているので仕方がない、という諦めが自分の中にあるので流したけども、高齢とか人手不足とかは言い訳にならないのでね。
ネット対応できてるってことは若い世代が対応しているんだろうけど、完全に世代交代すべきなんじゃないだろうか。

う〜ん。残念。
福井の恐竜博物館に行く為に探したら、勝山の宿がここ位しかなかった。江戸時代からの宿という事で、期待半分、不安半分で行きました。別館は凄く立派で歴史的な建物で良いと思う。夕食の懐石はこちらで食べるので雰囲気も良いし、料理もまずまず。しかし泊まりは本館の方で、こちらが古い。古いといっても、風情のある古民家風ではなく、昭和の旅館。床はぺこぺこしているし、トイレが共同で、和式。夜のトイレは、子供達は怖くて行けないほど廊下も暗い。畳にキズが付くからか？荷物は畳の上にビニールシートが引いて有りその上に乗せてくれとの事。布団もせんべい布団の二枚重ね。風呂のバスタオルは、自分達で洗濯しているもので、それ自体は悪くは無いが、酸っぱい匂いがしていた。これは勘弁してほしい。旅館の主人はシャツ姿で仕事をしている。シャツと言っても肌着。もうこれは、昭和の時代の旅館って感じ。田舎なので我慢しなければいけないのかな〜。我が家は、二度と行く事は無いです。別館はとても良いのに、残念。
