No breakfast but having stays in four previous 3 star hotels. The Narita Gateway was by far the best overall hotel for the price!

the photos and hotel description very misleading. This hotel is old and rundown. We had mold in our bathroom ceiling and shower walls. The hotel has a bad oder. We saw cockroach near entrance. Very disappointed at the hotel staff who are rude and make you check in and check out via kiosk. Food options horrible just convenience store and fast food options at bar. Location is no walkable like it states on the description.

This is my eighth time staying at this hotel over the past three years. I always returned because it was impeccably clean and the breakfast was wonderful. However, the cleanliness of the rooms has declined significantly and the quality of offerings at breakfast buffet has also declined. After this most recent stay I was so disappointed I will most likely be considering other hotels in the vicinity next time I’m in the area. The room is also uncomfortably warm with no way to lower the temperature.

【It'll be cheap】

First use on Tuesday, 4/21 for the night before my first trip to Hanoi with my wife.
The hotel is close to Narita Airport, twin non-smoking and includes breakfast, and selects this one for its cheap price.
The room is large, but the bathtub and shower room are separate and inconvenient,
I could not sleep at all because I heard drainage until morning.
Also, there were many Indian guests and few Japanese.
It would be cheaper if it cost just over 4,000 yen per person with breakfast.

It was our first time in Japan and our flight landed at 9pm. We got on the free shuttle and it was very easy to locate. The hotel room was surprisingly huge and we had amenities including pyjamas.
The staff were very helpful and attentive. The breakfast buffet was adequate with a lot of variety and the food was really tasty.
Air conditioning was not great but there were fans and humidifiers available to rent for free on our floor, so we rented one.
There was a currency exchange machine at the lobby and a Family Mart convenience store within the premises, where i did my luggage transfer swiftly and effortlessly.
We spent two days at Gateway Hotel before moving to Tokyo and we took advantage of the free shuttle bus to the mall in Narita, where we got a feel of the area. We also got the free shuttle bus to the train station when we checked out.
In all, it was a very pleasant stay and i would stay here again when next i visit.
