Lunch on the second floor of the hotel

After a stroll around Okazaki Castle with 27 members of the Shibakawa Local History Research Group, we all trudged through the park from Shinbashi Bridge and arrived at the hotel. We had lunch in the banquet hall on the second floor of the hotel. We all ate at four round tables. Our table ordered beer separately and enjoyed a friendly and enjoyable meal. There were no noodles, but the meal was a spectacular and delicious meal of Hatcho miso soup and a selection of Nagoya seafood and mountain delicacies.

A good hotel for sightseeing in Okazaki Castle

This hotel is about a 15-minute walk from Higashi-Okazaki Station.
Right next to the hotel, you can see Okazaki Park and Okazakikami. (You can also see it from the large public bath and breakfast venue.)
The basic parts of the hotel are old, but it is generally clean.
To check in, I went to the front desk on the first floor. The front desk staff were generally nice.
I received a card key and a breakfast voucher and went to my room.
The room was of a normal size, with a normal bathroom and toilet, normal amenities and in-room facilities, and disposable slippers.
The bed was normal, the nightgown was a robe, and the pillow was generally good.
The large public bath is switched between men and women depending on the time of day, and you can see Okazaki Castle (normal hot water, cold bath, sauna).
Breakfast was a buffet, with a fair variety.
You can enjoy the view of Okazaki Castle and the surrounding area from the breakfast venue on the 9th floor.
It's about a 10-minute walk from the downtown area, but it's a good hotel for sightseeing at Okazaki Castle.

Nice hotel in central Okazaki

Clean, friendly and comfortable hotel on the River and next to castle in Okazaki. Enough English spoken to get meals, a taxi, and basic information. Restaurant on 9th floor is eclectic continental for lunch and dinner, with reasonable breakfast included. Bathrooms are small but adequate.

Comfortable, convenient and clean

The hotel is an 8-10 minutes walk from Higashi-Okazaki train station. Service is fast and helpful. The staff's English was good. The hotel is next to the Okazaki castle grounds, and the restaurant and spa overlook the river and the castle, offering pleasant views. The hotel and the equipment isn't new, but it is good quality and clean, convenient. There is fast wifi. Breakfast had a decent selection.

Dated room with castle view onsen

Hotel located just beside Okazaki castle. Our room view has got the castle view.

Room is rather dated but overall clean.
Onsen
There's a schedule for the big and small onsen for female and male (rotation). The big onsen has good castle view.
Others
Free wifi and parking available. Hotel is also easily located on gps.
