This hotel was at a great location. The shinkansen was attached to the hotel which made all my day trips easier.

Convenient location and nice breakfast

3 nights Courtyard Shin Osaka station. We stayed here previously and like the location for its proximity to the Shinkansen and other local train lines. Since we took day trips to Kyoto and Himeji/Kobe (to watch baseball), it was a convenient option. There's a lounge but there's no breakfast items (the buffet is in the first floor restaurant). It's complimentary for platinum/titanium + 1. Additional guest is $25. The lounge does have evening snacks and complimentary alcohol. Came back a bit later one night and ate a the Ramen Kiou at the Shin Osaka station and it was really good.
We also went to Kimura Laundry close by for our self service laundry.

It was a great hotel overall, only one thing to add is if there were drink vending machines within the premises, it would be great.

This was the perfect hotel! My husband and I stayed in Osaka for one night as a small part of our larger Japan trip. The hotel is almost directly attached to shin Osaka station. This made it super easy for us to get to different parts of Osaka as well as Nara and Himejji. It’s also very close to Kyoto. The hotel itself is upscale and clean. The room was very comfortable and had what we needed. I also appreciated that the room was larger than a lot of hotels in Japan. The hotel also allows you to store your luggage prior to checkin and after checkout so that you can explore and come back to get your items. Osaka itself can get very crowded and I highly recommended staying at this hotel especially if your goal is to see other cities.

Great location, decent stay

Location is great, it’s connected to the Shin Osaka station, and that’s the part which made us choose Courtyard. The Shin Osaka station itself has a lot of food options and Shinkansen connectivity, making the location a great choice. We actually made Osaka our base and covered Kyoto from there. It was quite convenient. The hotel itself has more of a business hotel vibe, it’s clean & professional but without frills. Rooms were nice big and comfortable. The bathrooms are nice as well, only the washbasins were a bit small. Staff was not super polite as compared to other hotels I have seen in Japan but they were courteous. Some basic amenities are in the room and some have to taken on request. Would highly recommend for the convenience.
