Huge room, great location

Having stayed in dozens of hotels in Japan, I was very surprised by how big the room was compared to other chains. Especially considering how affordable it is.
Everything spotlessly clean, of course. Japanese beds are usually too hard for my tastes, but this one was very comfortable.
Perfect location a stone's throw from the train station. Very easy to navigate Sendai from here as the Loople bus stops nearby.
There can be a bit of a ruckus on the square facing the hotel during the day (there was some event when I stayed there) but it was very quiet at night.
I'd gladly stay here again.

Unfriendly to foreign guests, lacking sincerity and hospitality
This hotel has a strange rule where stayover guests must request room cleaning by 2:00 PM; missing this deadline results in an extra charge. We received no discount for our multi-night stay, and since housekeeping should naturally be included in the room rate, having to explicitly request it feels completely unreasonable.
My parents, who are foreign tourists, told me this rule was never explained during check-in. However, the front desk stubbornly insisted that they had.
To make matters worse, when we brought this complaint to the front desk, the staff gave us a half-hearted response, simply saying, "Understood, I'll pass this along to management," with no genuine apology or effort to resolve the issue. They clearly just wanted to dismiss us.
We were traveling with children—not on business—so it should have been obvious that daily cleaning was needed. The hotel severely lacks basic consideration for international guests, as well as true hospitality. It was a deeply unpleasant stay, and I do not recommend this hotel at all.

連泊の際、清掃を希望する場合は「14時までに申請がに必要」という奇妙なルールがありました。14時を過ぎると追加料金が発生します。連泊割引があるわけでもなく、清掃代は本来の宿泊金に含まれているはずなのに、わざわざ自ら申請しなければならない点に疑問を感じました。
日本語喋れない両親からは「チェーンイン時にそんな説明は受けなていない」ときいていますが、フロント側は「絶対に説明した」と譲りませんでした。外国人ゲストに対する配慮や親切さに欠ける印象を受けます。
さらに、この件についてフロントへ不満を伝えた際も、「わこりました、上の物に共有しておきます」と適当にあしらわれるだけで、誠意ある対応は一切ありませんでした。
また、ビジネス利用ではなく子連れの滞在だったため、連泊てまあれば掃除が必要なことくらい想像がつくはずです。臨機応変な対応や本来である欠落しています。非常に不快な滞在となりました。全くおすすめでまきません、特に外国と子連れの方です。

Comfort and good location

Very well located at the train station, which has a multitude of shops and restaurants. Comfortable room with a view of the train station. Very quiet, good bedding.

Perfect location

Great hotel with warm and accomodating staff made our stay very pleasant and memorable. Complete amenities,
breakfast buffet was very good. Book in the new wing as the original building is older. Located above the Sendai central train station. Perfect location with everything you need is just walking distance

Excellent hotel with convenient food and transportation

I selected this year's small trip to Sendai to take a walk, taking into account the relevant transportation planning of the trip. So I chose Hotel Metropolitan Sendai East, located in Sendai Station, this hotel is ideally located just above the JR station, after leaving, you can follow the shopping area indicators to see the connection channel.
The hotel is located at a transportation hub in the Sandai region, where rail, bus and even sightseeing bus can be easily reached. The hotel room... The room type is quite satisfying, the bed is very comfortable to sleep. There is no need to worry about eating around the hotel, especially there is a bullshit street inside the station. You can enjoy the famous bullshit dining in Sendai at any time.
Overall, if you want to visit Sendai again, this hotel is a great choice for your pocket listings!
