Beautiful hotel on the lake

I visited there at a time when the autumn colors were still beautiful, and I was so impressed by the view that I wanted to see the snowscape, so I revisited it the following year. The same scenery as ever. But even though it's empty, I've been woken up repeatedly by the noise of the door closing in my room across the street at midnight, and I've been complaining tirelessly to the front desk, "You mean I'm concerned. I'm sorry." I've always been a little concerned about the loudness of this gutchan, but I didn't know it was going to be repeated so many times in the middle of the night.
There will be some bad luck, but I can't think of another one.
I've only had French for dinner, but it's the exact same appetizer as last time. The same squishy W fish dish. The meat is delicious.
Breakfast is completely unsatisfactory in taste and quantity for this class. I've always felt that everyone is fine without changing hands.
The hot springs are hot and clear.
A beautiful hotel facing the lake, a hotel to taste the atmosphere.

The Japanese food is not good

Anyway, the location was good with the best service. French and Japanese food options are available. The French was good on the first day, but the Japanese food on the second was not. School trip level.

beautiful Fukushima with pride and history

excellent service by welcoming professional staff, beautiful nourishing food cooked with freshest ingredients, view from hotel room is absolutely breathtaking with 1816m height urabandai mountain. definitely most recommended place to stay to experience beauty of Fukushima Tohoku Japan

One of the best Onsens with spectacular views

Spectacular onsen with beautiful views of mount Bandaisan. A bit more expensive to enter than most places ¥1580 bit well worth the visit. Very quite hotel even on the weekend when other places in the area are very busy.

Outstanding service and value

We stayed here in July 2017, for two nights. We were two couples, and they placed us in one of the lodges on the second floor. Although the weather was a little warm, in the 80's during the day, our room air conditioner was excellent and kept us comfortable.
This property is very beautiful, with a natural onsen that reportedly produces water at 140 degrees F. The view of the mountains, lake and forest from the onsen is magnificent. The lighting of the lake at night is striking and tasteful.
There is a lovely hiking trail around the lake which the staff has taken the trouble to sprinkle generously with wood chips, to prevent anyone from losing his way and possibly to reduce muddiness. I can hardly imagine how much work this must have been, given that it takes about 30 minutes to complete the hike and that there is no vehicular access to this narrow winding path. Whenever there is a chance that one might go off the trail, they have erected little fences to show where the route is.
The Morohashi museum is a short ride from the resort via shuttle bus. It was amazing to find a world -class beautiful museum like this in the neighborhood. It contains about 350 works by Salvador Dali, in addition to a lot of fascinating art by other artists.
Our meals were delicious, served by attentive staff in the dining room with a lovely view of the lake and mountains. When I accidentally spilled some food on my pants and was wiping it off with a dry napkin, the waiter across the room immediately came over with a wet towel to assist me. Everyone on the staff was very kind and helpful.
I hope to be able to visit this property again someday.
