Fabulous Guest House with Super Hosts

Beautiful property, renovated to an extremely high standard. Large bedroom with period features and super comfortable bed. House in lovely quiet area, and set in gorgeous grounds. Richard and Caroline were lovely hosts. Very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was excellent, choice of cereals, toasts, and delicious freshly cooked options. Highly recommended.

A perfect place to stay in Jersey

Easy to find and a perfect location for our needs. We hired a car and found the roads easy to negotiate. The guest house was immaculate, very clean - not a spec of dust anywhere. Carolyn and Richard were perfect hosts - polite, helpful but non intrusive. It is a large Victorian house with plenty of atmosphere, well appointed with beautiful decor and furnishings. Everything was of high spec and a great deal of thought had gone into the design. Excellent breakfast. Our room contained everything including beverages and biscuits. Soft, fluffy white towels, faceclothes and toiletries. The bed was really comfy and we slept well.

A lovely place to stay.

All over we had a wonderful stay here. The room at the front of the house was lovely and quiet, with a very comfortable bed. Always warm enough and with a good shower, consistently warm water. Plenty of choice at breakfast time, full breakfast is cooked to perfection and very tasty with quality ingredients. St Ouen is a good location, with a local food shop and places to eat out within a 10 minute drive. Our hosts Richard and Carolyn keep a lovely property with a beautiful garden,are very welcoming and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay here.

Great, nice and quiet accommodation

La Croix is a wonderful place to stay. The garden is beautiful. It is very cozy, the operators very friendly and helpful. The Full English Breakfast is delicious.

A great base for island exploration

A delightful Victorian house with oodles of charm and period features but all mod cons too. A warm welcome from Richard and Carolyn who were always happy to chat about Jersey and make suggestions for things to see. The village has a shop and pub. A car is recommended but if you come without your own transport, the reliable bus service from just round the corner will take you throughout the island, but do pick up a paper copy of the full timetable at the bus station in St Helliern. Much easier than trying to cope on the phone. Definitely recommended.
