Consider yourself lucky if you are able to book a room at the Leopard Tree

We have been traveling over Africa for 6 weeks, staying in guesthouses all the way, and this one was above all the rest. The owners have gone beyond the norm to create an elegant, but comfortable space with attention to minute details for your pleasure. We felt very spoiled with cold, purified water in the frig, a kettle for heating water with coffees and teas provided. Snacks like rusks, biltong, mints, chocolates and a flask of brandy with tiny glasses. The king bed and bedding were extremely comfortable and the A/C kept us cool, while a strong WiFi and work station helped us catch up with emails. We opted to have dinner there, and for the price of 150 Rand, it has to be the best bargain in town for the quality and presentation of the meal, starting with a fruit/cheese appetizer, choice of entree (hake, 3 types of curries, and chicken pie were offered), salad and dessert (milk tart with cruller and berries). Breakfast was included in the room rate and included your choice of eggs, meats, toast, fruit, yogurt and granola and juices as well as cold cereals and….Cappuccino!
We were there on a Saturday and realized that all the laundry services were closed and we had a week’s laundry to do before flying to Namibia the following day. We were surprised and delighted when Ria generously offered to do our laundry!!
We felt very safe with the enclosed garage for our car and safety features of the property.
We appreciated the exquisite decor and comfortable space of this beautiful home and the generosity of its owner, Ria.

Our favourite place in Polokwane

It was lovely seeing Ria again! We love staying at The Leopard Tree. Everything you need in the room and bathroom and breakfast is amazing. We travel a lot for business and this is excellent value for money.

Excellent value for money

Leopard tree is a lovely place to stay. Our room was spacious and very clean. It was big enough for the 4 of us. Included in the price is a wonderful breakfast. Excellent and safe location. Ria was a very friendly host.

Excellent

The Leopard tree is a beautiful place to stay for the night! Excellent and very friendly service. Breakfast was amazing. Nice and quite area and very safe! Safe parking with electric fence around the whole property. Would recommend to anyone staying the night or even for a longer visit.

Great Place to stay.

We had arrived in SA that morning from the UK and drove up to Polokwane for a one night stop over before travelling up to Botswana the next day. Our room was spacious, clean and comfortable. The host, Ria, was lovely, very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very good, lots of choice.
There was secure parking on site.
I would certainly stay here again if I was ever in Polokwane.
