We really enjoyed our weekend away enjoyed every second that we spend there friendly environment from all peoples there thumps up to you Clint and your team!!!nice atmosphere enjoyed wildlife I want to thank you once more for nice hospitality

Loved or 1 night getaway

We stayed in the rondavel for 1 night to escape the city. The kruger family are exceptionally friendly and hospitable hosts. Beds are super comfortable and rooms are spacious enough. Water pressure in shower could be better... although, bear in mind you are in the middle of the Bush. Kids enjoyed the pool while us adults tried our hand at clay pigeon shooting...... soooo much fun. Would definitely recommend staying here and we will return on our next trip to South Africa. Access road can be a bit bumpy so drive with caution or a 4x4

We Have been to Kruger Ranch a couple of times! And every visit just blows my mind! Stunning stay,friendly staff, clean environment,lovely atmosphere and good all round service!!! Love the place!
Quick and efficient booking system, never had any issues!

Unprofessional is an understatement

In January 2022 I book the lodge for a family weekend away on 01-03April 2022. I pay R5000 deposit upon booking. 2 weeks prior I give the host a courtesy call and confirm our stay is booked which is then confirmed however I'm informed that we will be sharing the lodge with someone else. I then decided to rather cancel as I believe its very unprofessional considering the lodge has a standalone kitchen, living area and braai area so not sure how two groups of total strangers is suppose to share the same kitchen, living area and braai facilities. The host then informs me that I will loose my deposit if I cancel. I then reconsider and decides that we will have to go as I'm not willing to loose R5000.
On the 1st of April me and my family is busy packing the car full of excitement for the weekend away when I receive a call from the host. I'm informed that a double booking has occurred and unfortunately there is no more space for us in the lodge and ask if I can postpone the weekend for a different date. I then refuse and insist on cancelation and full payback of my deposit which is agreed to by host.
The R5000 deposit is then payed back in two payments, R2500 end of April only and the other R2500 only in July after numerous phone calls and text messages to the host requesting my money back.
Considering the very unprofessional service I received from Kruger Ranch Host, you will definitely make the mistake of your life to treat yourself for a weekend away at Kruger Ranch.

Not recommended

Extremely unhappy with my experience with the host. He was unpleasant, racist and unwilling to make our stay comfortable.
Firstly, the place was falsely advertised. We booked through airbnb which clearly stated "entire lodge" for R11000 (excluding extra services). Upon arrival, we ended up sharing the space with random campers who did not contribute to this price. We even had people sit in our house and have a glass of wine! The house that was paid for by US!!! An utterly terrible disregard for the privacy of paying guests. We were further told that the kitchen area was "communal". Again. A lie advertised by the host.
Furthermore, we had agreed in writing with the host that we would have a late check in and check out. Our check out time as per agreement was 3pm. At 10.30 when guests were still asleep, the host demanded that we vacate the premises by 11. If not he would "personally remove is bt force".
The lack of respect and disgusting behaviour of the host is not worth anyone's time or money.
