Awesome stay, awesome STAFF
We stayed over between 28-30 Jan 2019. As a hotel manager myself, I was pleasantly surprised. Atmosphere chilled/ peaceful. The STAFF was just amazing, anything we needed was arranged in an instant. Room was clean with all the necessary facilities and very affordable compared to other nearby properties... Would definitely recommend this place to anyone wanting to get away from the hustle and bustle. I honestly have nothing negative to say about this place.

Nice Stay/ No spa
Friendly staff on welcome and duration of stay.
Nicely decorated bedrooms, clean and neat (rooms serviced daily).
Balcony - nice view of Rustenburg north (specially at night)
Very close to the mall, very convenient for lunch and dinner
Points to note:
It didn't bother us, but the guesthouse is right next to the highway
(you do hear all sounds quite clearly)
They still advertise spa facilities - but there are none. Spa closed.
(And they couldn't tell us where there was a spa)
Also, our north facing room was close to pool - people quite rowdy with loud music there at night.
(not sure what the evening cutoff is there)

Different but comfy :-)
The decor style here....you'd think you are on a farm. There's a watercan for a shower head... taps as switches for bedside lamps . Very cute and not what one sees everyday... i don't prefer this but the room was very comfortable and clean. The only disappointment was the towels... they were not clean... used my own though.
Sufficient supply of blankets.
Accommodated an early breakfast time for us as we were off to a race and also catered for the special request :-)

Very nice place to stay. Staff friendly, breakfast good. Proper demarcated parking, DSTV in the room as well as 500 preloaded movies. It is a pleasure to sit down for breakfast in the newly renovated dinning area, which also been used as a venue for al kind of functions.

Grubby Outdoor living
My first impression upon arrival at the front gate did not inspire confidence, we were met by a sliding gate with a hand written cardboard sign on it, requesting that one call the guest house – no permanent signage, no automation and no proper security gate.
We entered the premise and then drove around to the back where temporary parking was in the sand under the trees but again with no demarcated parking area and the whole area had a look of non- permanence about it.
The car park is at the rear of the house and steps leading up to the house. The steps overlook the pool and the Breakfast area and the outside ablutions and what looks like staff quarters all overlooking the pool area.
We arrived early and staff were just cleaning up after breakfast, but the flies were everywhere.
The house states it has 12 Bedrooms and while it is a large house, it appears obvious that all internal space has been utilised to maximise guest rooms, thereby foregoing any internal space for separate toilets, and /or dining room and/or kitchen which are now all external appendices attached to the back of the house.
The general feeling was that the place looked unkempt.
The Duty Manager advised that he was newly appointed and I requested to speak to the Owner who I was informed was not present.
We left the guest house and went into the local town and sought alternative accommodation.
We found alternative accommodation in town and requested to cancel our booking.
Kindly note that this guest house policy is that it insists on payment in full before arrival and with a no refund policy
