Perfect for our overnight stop after a long trip!
The owner and staff were so friendly from arrival to departure. The rooms were so thoughtfully cooled upon arrival, beautiful neat and clean. With everything you may require for a night or two stay over.
The gardens caught our attention and kept it! In immaculate condition, so much and green. With a refreshing clean pool perfect for our late afternoon dip after a long drive. The Belfast the next morning was divine! The best bacon and eggs I’ve ever had!
Would definitely stop over again and recommend to anyone travelling that way!

Horrible gueat house
The room i was alllocated with was infested with cockroaces.woke up with a cockroach crawling over my face.upon complaining i was handed a can of doom and told its "maar deel van dit". And the staff was instructed to clean the room .my stay was not pleasant at all as i had to sleep with one eye open.There is also no place like a desk and chair f you have to work. Most of the time i struggled to get the breakfast down as the roaches was on my mind. The room also need a serious upgrade...

Dear Renette, we are truly sorry to hear about your unfortunate experience. We have exceptionally high standards and has never had this type of complaint or feedback before. We did act immediately on your initial complaint by sanitizing your room and chemically treating your immediate outside areas. We always act immediately on any type of feedback/complaint. I wish you could have witnessed the activities behind the scenes in follow up reaction to your comment. We consider feedback from all our guests in a serious manner and try to act immediately. It is important to us to ensure guests enjoy their stay with us. We have been in business for over 20 years and always aim to keep our guests happy and content.
This has been an exceptionally wet season in our area and we have been struggling to keep uninvited visitors at bay - locusts, ants, mozzies and crawling creatures are sporadically unwelcome visitors (luckily far fom bejng an infestation). Their presence is definitely not related to lack of good housekeeping. It is unfortunate that you did not follow up your concerns with management. You indicated each morning that all was well and that you enjoyed a good rest. We could have moved you to another room had we known your true feeljngs.
You were given a choice upon arrival between 2 rooms - one had a desk. You selected one without a desk.
Communication is such an important component in our industry and we apologize sincerely for not picking up on your discontent sooner- you gave us the impression of enjoying your stay.
We invite you back to Libby's to experience a great stay as most of our guests can atest to. Kindly take the time to browse through some of the comments of other happy travellers on this page.

Pleasant surprise
Spent night here en route from Kgalagadi.
Safe parking, clean well appointed room onto lovely garden. Free wifi included. Pleasant helpful owner

Lovely people, very welcoming
We had a very impromptu stay with Liesel and co.
They couldn’t have been more accommodating. Wonderful service.
Very clean facilities with WiFi if needed.
Breakfast was yummy.

Amazing stay and warm hospitality
Liesel welcomed us with a big smile and open arms after a long day on the road. She offered to set a table with plates and wine glasses for our cheese, wine and biscuits that we bought at the Checkers. She was extremely accommodating and nothing was too much effort.
After our own little picnic-dinner next to the pool and a stunning sunset, the beautiful, huge pool invited us to swim a few lengths before we jumped into comfy beds to get a good night’s rest before heading out early the next morning. We did not have breakfast there but one can enjoy a delicious plate for a very reasonable R85 pp.
