I highly recommend

Very nice hotel, clean and conveniently located.
Real little cocoon.
The manager is very caring and the staff is remarkably kind, always smiling.
The breakfast is excellent.

A Hidden Gem in Kampot

What a wonderful stay at Hotel Old Cinema in Kampot!
The transformation of this former cinema into a boutique hotel is truly remarkable. The rooms are exceptionally comfortable and beautifully decorated in a charming 1950s Miami Art Deco style, giving the hotel a unique character and atmosphere.
A huge thank you to the entire team for their warm hospitality. Special thanks to Sokun at the front desk, whose kindness, smile, and helpful recommendations made our stay even more enjoyable.
We would also like to thank the manager, Bas, who found some clothes we had accidentally left behind after checking out and arranged for them to be delivered to us in Phnom Penh. That level of care and customer service is rare and greatly appreciated.
We highly recommend Old Cinema Hotel to anyone visiting Kampot and would be delighted to stay here again.

Fine art-deco style hotel that lives up to hype

Loved the Old Cinema hotel. Beautiful art deco decoration in rooms and surrounding areas. Air con works well. Great shower.
Cafe style breakfast area / cafe with lots of plants.
Great background music accentuating the cool mood. Small pool to cool off in was on way to needing a clean, but was fine. Lots of towels. All staff were magnificent even helping to organise tuk tuks to the sights.
Food excellent. Loved this place especially

Great background music accentuating the cool mood. Small pool to cool off in was on way to needing a clean, but was fine. Lots of towels. All staff were magnificent even helping to organise tuk tuks to the sights. Food excellent. Loved this place especially the meatball sandwiches for lunch.

Great small boutique hotel with great service

We stayed 2 nights of our Cambodia tour in Kampot and stayed here.
The friendly and cordiality of the staff is hard to beat. Already at check in Pauline gave us very good & interesting restaurant and excursion tips. Also Jenny has been super friendly & helpful and has organized us a driver. But all other employees always had a smile on their faces and were visibly courteous.
The pool is small but good for refreshment and the food very delicious & high quality.
The only mini criticism: the standard rooms are really very small, if you have 2 large suitcases with you already a bit challenging.
Nevertheless: absolute recommendation!
