Beautiful experience

Beautiful facility, very kind staff. A nice bar/restaurant with a lovely view of the sunset. The property organizes a boat trip to see dolphins.
My boyfriend and I stayed two days and they were wonderful. Highly recommend. Love love love love

Great guesthouse and great projects

Le Tonle is a great little guesthouse and well worth a visit!
The atmosphere is good and the cause of the place is great (helping young people in the area).
So, Le Tonle is a special place.
The staff is smiling, friendly and attentive and the food in the restaurant is well worth try and very tasty.
The rooms are clean, spacious, have comfortable beds (not too hard and not too soft), a small but well equipped and decent bathroom (hot water, with shampoo, soap and a comb) and overall are well worth the money. The rooms come with a chair, table, air conditioning, a bottle of water (refill, so also thought about), a hairdryer and water cooker.
I think that a bit of information in the rooms about the projects would be welcome, but that's just a side note for the management and maybe already planned.
If you are on your way to the 4000 Islands (Don Som is worth a visit) in Laos or just came from Laos, consider staying at Le Tonle and explore Kratie. It's worth a visit (the island in front of Kratie, Koh Trong, as well).

A truly local guesthouse well worth staying at.

As soon as you arrive you are made to feel so welcome. The building is a great design - with open area on the ground floor and rooms on the floors above.
Staff helped me with my bags (mind the steps are very steep) and showed me to my room. It’s a great size. The AC works (and is much needed at this time of year) and the view from the guest balcony across the Mekong is stunning.
Le Tonle is undergoing refurbishment at the moment but it doesn’t interrupt your stay at all.
It’s a truly lovely and local guest house with a plethora of great restaurants in walking distance too.
I should add the WiFi is super fast too. I was in Kratie for work so this made my life much easier too.
Thank you to all the staff for making me feel so welcome.

A wonderful hotel

A fantastic hotel, the staff were so helpful and kind.
The rooms were wonderful and the view of the Mekong from the shared balcony was incredible - a great place to watch the sunset.
I’d highly recommend staying here!

Excellent Initiative.

Together with 25 other Anglo-Thai Society members, my wife and myself visited Le Tonle Tourist Training Centre at Kratie this morning.
Our tour took in the Restaurant, Guest House Reception and the Travel Tours Office and it was very good to see how young Cambodians were being helped (receiving a range of training often leading to employment either locally or in Phnom Penh or Seam Reap) such a good initiative.
All in all a most enjoyable visit - certainly one Inshoukd recommend to others.
